We join you in lifting this desire of your heart before the Lord, asking Him to guide your steps and the steps of this man at church according to His perfect will. It is beautiful to see your commitment to purity and godly intentions, and we pray that the Lord would honor that by leading both of you in a way that brings glory to Him.
Father God, we come before You with grateful hearts, acknowledging that every good and perfect gift comes from You. We ask that You would work in the life of this sister and the man she has noticed, drawing them closer to You and to one another if it is Your will. Lord, we pray that You would open doors for them to interact in a way that is honoring to You, where conversations can flow naturally and hearts can be revealed. May their time together be filled with Your presence, wisdom, and discernment.
We also ask, Lord, that You would guard their hearts against any impure motives or distractions that could lead them away from Your best. Help them to seek You first in all things, trusting that You know what is best for their lives. If this man is not the one You have chosen for her, give her peace and contentment in Your plan, and prepare her heart for the spouse You have for her. If he is the one, we pray that You would soften his heart toward her and give him the courage to pursue her in a way that reflects Christ’s love.
Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 19:14, "House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Yahweh." Lord, we trust that You are the One who brings godly spouses together, and we ask that You would lead them both in this journey. May they seek Your will above their own desires, knowing that Your plans are always for their good.
We also encourage you, sister, to continue walking in faith and obedience. Spend time in prayer and in the Word, allowing God to shape your heart and prepare you for whatever He has in store. If this man is the one, trust that God will make it clear in His timing. If not, rest in the knowledge that God’s timing is perfect, and He has someone even better prepared for you.
Let us also remember that our ultimate satisfaction comes from Christ alone. Psalm 37:4 says, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." As you delight in Him, He will align your desires with His will.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, who makes all things possible and who intercedes for us before the Father. Amen.
