Praying for Justice in the name of Jesus

Disciple of Prayer
Dear Lord, I feel extremely helpless and fear has gripped me in a way that it never has before. With my heart in the right place, I did the best I could to help out a said person despite recognising the ways in which she seemed to be a little comfortable in her somewhat crooked conscience. My effort to do the right thing - the kind thing seems to now be biting my back. The said individual has chosen to lie, cheat, and create havoc in my life by escalating the same. Besides breaking me, she is further deceiving those around and the system. The same seems to be enabled by corrupt individuals all of them seeming well aware of the ploy. I am deeply affected by the same and I feel tremendous guilt about burdening my loved ones with the repercussions of my good faith as they have begun to take a turn so ugly that it is now making me question why Im alive at all. In Jesus name, I HOPE THAT MY TRUTH WILL NOT BECOME A GAMBLE IN THE HANDS OF THOSE THAT ARE COMFORTABLE IN THEIR ABSENCE OF CONSCIENCE.. I dont seek vendetta, just some peace of mind for myself. Please Lord, Let those that can make the decision to stand by the truth - those that can help change the course of the situation that seeks to wrongly slander me make a choice based on my repeated reiteration of my intentions and my truth. I need your love, support, and your unseen presence in making the world a safer and a better place. Without the same, my life seems pointless - life seems pointless. Please, Jesus. I have faith in you and I want to get back my faith in life.

Vice of Speech
Every lie dishonors God and demands we speak and live with absolute truthfulness.
His Name-the Counsellor
Christ as Counsellor guides you with divine wisdom in every need and trial.
We hear the heaviness in your heart and we join with you before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, thanking you for turning to Him in this hour of deep fear and helplessness. You have done what is right in seeking justice without seeking vendetta, and God honors that posture. He sees what has been done in secret, He hears every lie and every truth, and He is not indifferent to your suffering.

We want to gently speak to the fear and the despair you expressed, including feeling that life seems pointless and questioning why you are alive. Your life is precious to God, created in His image and held with purpose even when circumstances feel overwhelming and unjust. When you feel burdened by guilt for involving your loved ones, remember that God designed us to bear one another's burdens, and your loved ones care for you not as a burden but as a gift. Please do not walk through these dark thoughts alone, we encourage you to reach out right away to a trusted loved one, a pastor, or a counselor and to let them stay close to you while God carries you through this valley.

The Word reminds us that God is our refuge when fear grips us. Isaiah 41:10 says Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And when fear rises, Psalm 56:3 says When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. We also cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us, as 1 Peter 5:7 teaches, and we are reminded in 2 Timothy 1:7 that God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

We rebuke together the lying, cheating, deceit and corruption that has been used to slander you and to manipulate those around you and the system that should uphold truth. God hates lying lips, Proverbs 12:22 says Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. Proverbs 19:9 says A false witness shall not be unpunished. A man who utters lies shall perish. We do not take vengeance into our own hands, for Romans 12:19 says Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord, but we do cry out for His righteous justice to be revealed. He is a God of justice, Isaiah 30:18 says Yahweh is a God of justice, and He promises in Psalm 37:5-6 Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this, he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun. Your truth is not a gamble in His hands, He is the God of truth who sees every intention of your heart.

We also thank God that you have come in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Your faith in Him is not in vain. Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Romans 8:28 reminds us that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who feels helpless, afraid, broken and slandered. Lord, You see the truth of what was done in good faith and You see the crooked conscience and deceit that has sought to twist it. We ask You to be their shield and defender, to let truth prevail and to move upon the hearts of those who have authority and influence to make decisions, that they would choose what is right and stand by what is true. Expose every lie and every corrupt alliance, and bring it to nothing, so that slander does not prosper. Lord, replace fear with Your perfect peace, John 14:27 says Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you, not as the world gives, give I to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. Guard their mind and heart, lift the heavy guilt and despair, and restore hope and faith in life again. Remind them daily that they are deeply loved, seen, and not alone, and surround them with godly support from family, friends and counselors who will walk with them. Give them wisdom to continue to speak the truth in love, to document what is true, and to seek wise and godly counsel for every practical step, while resting their ultimate justice in Your hands. Renew their strength, restore their joy, and let them feel Your unseen presence making a way where there seems to be no way. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, our hope, our truth and our deliverer, Amen.

We encourage you to keep committing your way to the Lord each day, to stay in His Word, to pray honestly as you have, and to let others help carry this burden with you. The Lord is faithful to bring light to what has been hidden and to give peace that passes understanding as you trust Him.

We are holding your request with such care, and we want to pause first for your safety. If you are in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services right now. For free, confidential support from trained people, you can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. You are not alone and help is available right now.

Thank you for sharing so honestly about the fear and helplessness you are feeling. It makes sense that trying to do the kind and right thing and then being misrepresented, lied about, and seeing that dishonesty spread to others would leave you shaken and exhausted. We hear how heavy the guilt feels about how this is affecting your loved ones, and how it has left you questioning whether life has purpose.

Please do not carry this alone. When fear grips us we often pull back from the very people who care most, but staying connected matters. We encourage you to reach out today to one trusted person, a pastor, counselor, or loved one, and let them know both about the practical pressure you are under and about the thoughts that life feels pointless. If there are formal accusations or processes involved, consider seeking steady, wise guidance from a pastor and a trusted legal aid or advocate who can help you document what is true and take one step at a time, alongside prayer.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. You see what is true when others do not, and You see the fear and weariness underneath. Hold them close tonight, quiet the fear, lift the heavy guilt, and surround them with safe, caring people who will stay near and help with next steps. Give wisdom to those in a position to act, and restore hope and peace day by day. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry has come before the Lord and before His people, and it is heard with deep compassion. To be wounded by the very kindness you showed, to see truth twisted and to feel fear take hold where once there was confidence, is a bitter trial. And to feel that your good faith has brought burden upon those you love, and to be brought so low as to question why you are alive, is a heaviness that no soul should bear alone.

You are not alone in such betrayal. Our Lord Himself knew what it is to have hands put forth against one who was at peace with him, to hear words smoother than butter while war was in the heart. The Psalm says his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords. When man had the custody of trust and broke it, Christ willingly entered into betrayal that He might bear our sorrows and be near to the betrayed. He knows the sting of lies, the havoc of deceit, and the pain of corrupt dealings. He does not look away from your distress.

The fear you describe is real, and Scripture does not scold you for feeling it, but it does speak a command and a promise to you in it. Again and again the Lord says, Fear not. Fear thou not, for I am with thee. Be not dismayed, for I am thy God. I will help thee, saith the Lord. This is not the voice of a preacher only, but of Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant fallen as dead at His feet, Fear not. To fear man brings a snare, and fear is weakening and dishonors the arm that piled the heavens. Yet perfect love casts out fear, and that love is shown in Christ.

You ask not for vendetta but for peace of mind, for truth to be upheld, for those with power to decide to choose what is right. That is a right and good prayer. Leave vengeance in the hands of Him to whom vengeance belongs, and ask Him to establish justice. He who vindicated His Son will vindicate the truth in His own time and way. Your part is to keep your mind stayed upon Him, for the promise stands, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee. This perfect peace is not the false peace which says peace, peace when there is no peace, a peace that can live at peace with sin or that comes from forgetting God. True peace is the blood of Jesus whispering peace within, even when sorrows surge around, even when duties press and loved ones are burdened with us, even when death shadows us. It is a present possession for those who trust in Him.

Do not build your hope on self justification, as if you must prove yourself worthy before God or man by your own efforts. We are justified not by our good intentions, though yours were kind, but by faith in what Jesus has done, who gave Himself upon the tree that God might be just and yet the Justifier of him that believeth in Jesus. Bring your guilt, your fear, your weariness to Him. Confess before Him where you need forgiveness, and receive the forgiveness that teaches the heart to fear God with holy reverence rather than to dread man.

Will your peace stand you on a sick bed, in a court of opinion, in a lonely night. That is the test. The peace that comes from Christ will stand, for He has vanquished death and all its powers, and He calls His people to Heaven's perfect peace at last. Earth's struggles shall soon cease for those who are in Him, but until then He keeps them day by day.

Therefore labor to get rid of fear as you are able, not by your own strength but by trusting promised strength. Tell the Lord plainly as you have told us, that you need His unseen presence to make the world safer and to make your path clear. Ask Him to move upon those who must decide, that they would love truth and not be comfortable in the absence of conscience. Continue to speak the truth quietly and steadily, without reviling, and commit your cause to Him that judgeth righteously. Do not withdraw from those who love you. Love bears burdens, and you are not a burden to be ashamed of. Let your loved ones, and a faithful pastor or godly counselor near you, walk with you in this valley. If the thought that life seems pointless grows heavy and you fear for your safety, reach at once to a trusted person near you and to help that is close at hand, and do not remain alone with those thoughts.

We pray for you now.

O Lord our God, Thou seest this wounded and fearful heart. Thou knowest the lies spoken, the deceit practiced, and the corruption that enables it. Thou art the God of truth and justice, and no gamble of men can hide truth from Thine eyes. We ask Thee to stand by this soul who trusts in Jesus. Say to this fearful heart, Fear not, for I am with thee. Keep this mind in perfect peace as it is stayed on Thee. Lift the weight of false guilt, forgive sin through the blood of Christ, and give assurance of being reconciled to Thee. Move upon those who hold influence, that they may choose truth over crooked advantage. Restrain the hand of the deceiver, bring to light what is hidden, and let slander not prevail. Give to this afflicted one Thy love and Thy unseen presence, restore faith in life as life in Thee, and show that life is not pointless while lived under Thy mercy. Preserve from despair, surround with faithful help, and lead step by step into rest in doing Thy will. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and righteousness, Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
