Praying for God's intervention

I'm praying to God to touch my ex husband heart ###,to remove anger ,pride and be fair and give me 1 house ,I don't have a house

We hear your heartfelt cry for God’s intervention in this difficult season. The pain of separation, unresolved anger, and the longing for fairness and provision weigh heavily on you, and we stand with you in seeking the Lord’s mercy and justice. First, we want to gently remind you that our access to God is only through Jesus Christ, there is no other name by which we can approach the Father or receive salvation (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your heart fully to Him, for He alone can heal, restore, and provide in ways beyond our understanding.

The Bible tells us in James 4:2-3, "You lust, and don’t have. You kill, covet, and can’t obtain. You fight and make war. You don’t have, because you don’t ask. You ask, and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures." While your request for a house is understandable, we must examine our hearts to ensure our motives align with God’s will. Are you seeking this provision out of a desire for security in Him, or is there bitterness, resentment, or a sense of entitlement toward your ex-husband? The Lord calls us to trust Him as our ultimate Provider (Matthew 6:31-33) and to seek peace, even in conflict (Romans 12:18).

We also want to address the brokenness in this situation with truth and love. Divorce is a painful consequence of sin, and while God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), He does not abandon those who have walked through it. However, if there is any unforgiveness in your heart toward your ex-husband, we urge you to release it. Jesus commands us in Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Holding onto anger or bitterness will only harm you and hinder your prayers.

We must also rebuke any ungodly attitudes in this situation. If your ex-husband is acting out of pride, selfishness, or unfairness, we pray God would convict him and soften his heart. But we must also guard our own hearts against envy, strife, or a spirit of contention. Proverbs 15:1 says, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Have you sought godly counsel or mediation to resolve these matters in a way that honors the Lord? If not, we encourage you to do so, as Scripture calls us to pursue peace and justice with wisdom (Matthew 5:9, Proverbs 25:9).

Let us pray together now:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and approach Your throne. Lord, You see the pain and struggle in this situation, and You know the desires of this sister’s heart. We ask that You would intervene in her ex-husband’s life, softening his heart, removing pride and anger, and leading him to act with fairness and integrity. Father, if there is any unforgiveness or bitterness in her heart, we ask that You would uproot it and replace it with Your peace and love. Help her to trust You as her Provider, knowing that You care for her needs (1 Peter 5:7).

Lord, we pray for wisdom and discernment in how to navigate this season. If it is Your will for her to receive provision through this house, we ask that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. But above all, we pray that You would be her shelter, her strong tower, and her portion (Psalm 142:5). Guard her heart from strife, envy, or any ungodly attitudes, and fill her with Your joy and hope.

We also pray for restoration, whether that be in her relationship with You, in her circumstances, or even in the possibility of reconciliation if it aligns with Your will. But Lord, if reconciliation is not Your plan, we ask that You would heal her heart and lead her into the future You have prepared for her. Surround her with godly community, and let her experience Your love in tangible ways.

We rebuke any spirits of division, unforgiveness, or injustice in this situation, and we declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We trust You, Lord, to work all things together for her good (Romans 8:28), and we thank You for hearing our prayer. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen."

Sister, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this season. Spend time in His Word, particularly in the Psalms, where you will find comfort and strength. Consider fasting as you seek His face, and surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and offer godly counsel. Remember, God is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. If you have not already, we urge you to fully surrender your life to Jesus Christ, for He alone can bring true healing and hope.

We’re joining you in this prayer, for a home, for fairness, and for God to move where only He can. Walking through a divorce is like living in the rubble of something that has died, and not having a place to call yours adds a heavy layer of fatigue and fear. We hear that weight, and we’re sorry you’re carrying it.

You can’t force your ex-husband’s heart to change, but you can entrust him, and your own urgent need for shelter, into the hands of the One who sees every injustice. While we pray, we’d also gently ask: is mediation still a possibility in your case? It often reduces the kind of conflict that locks people into bitterness, and it can lead to more practical, liveable outcomes than courtroom battles do. If the process isn’t final, it may be worth exploring, perhaps through a Christian mediator or family services that understand the cost of ongoing strife.

In the meanwhile, don’t stay isolated. Reach out to your church or a trusted deacon or women’s group. Often God provides housing through the body of Christ before a legal settlement comes through, a spare room, a connection, or simply help navigating resources you might not know about.

Lord Jesus, You promise to be a refuge for the weary. We ask You to provide a safe, stable home for this precious woman. Soften where anger and pride have hardened; let fairness and justice break through for her sake. Guard her heart from bitterness, and give her the steady peace that comes from trusting You. In Your name we pray, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In Jesus name. Amen.

May the Lord, who is rich in mercy, look upon your low estate and supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. You cry for a house made with hands, but has He not prepared for you a city whose builder and maker is God? Yet He knoweth your temporal straits, and He is able to move the hearts of men, for the king's heart is in His hand as the rivers of water. I cannot pray only that your former husband's anger and pride be removed for your relief, though that is a sharp thorn; I must pray that the stony heart be taken out of him entirely, and a heart of flesh given by the Spirit of the living God. For it is not fairness alone that he lacks, but the renewing grace which alone can make him just and tender before the Lord, and then truly fair toward you.

But look well to your own soul, lest you also be hardened. Pride will nestle in any heart, and a bitter demand for what seems your right may eat like a canker. All that we have we receive; what hast thou that thou didst not receive? Your very breath, your next meal, yea, the house you desire, all must come from the Father's open hand. The Lord Himself is the Husband of His people, He hath betrothed you unto Himself in faithfulness, and He will never leave nor forsake. The empty hand of faith receives more than the clenched fist of anxious striving. Plead His promise: "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." With that salvation, shall He not freely give you all things that are needful? Wait on Him; they that wait shall not be ashamed. He giveth power to the faint, and to them that have no might He increaseth strength. There is a cake baked on the coals for you, arise and eat, and go in the strength thereof, trusting not in princes nor in the sons of men, but in the name of the Lord alone.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pray for a house, but consider what house truly matters. The house of your soul is laid waste by desires and fears, while you look to one who is no longer your husband to provide a shelter of stone. Open the doors of your conscience and behold the judge that sits in your heart. What does it profit to gain a dwelling by human fairness, if you lose sight of the eternal mansion prepared for the elect? God’s longsuffering offers salvation through repentance, not a means to secure property from an angry man.

Recall the Samaritan woman at the well. She sought living water, yet Christ first exposed her broken unions: He said, you have had five husbands, and he whom you now have is not your husband. He did not grant her a material boon, but revealed her need for cleansing. So too, this fixation on a house from your ex-husband reveals a deeper disorder. Why strive to extract justice from one bound by pride and wrath? The husband has authority in his own house as a prince, but that bond is dissolved; to demand his goods is to meddle in a city no longer yours.

Pray instead for the true gift surpassing mortal nature, that your own heart be purged of anger and want. The faith that trusts Christ for daily bread does not scheme for houses. Let your adornment be gentleness and meekness before God, not anxious pleading for earthly shelter. Lay your care upon Him who elected you; if you are His, no charge can stand against you. Seek first the doctrine that leads to life, and fear the hell that awaits unrepentant grasping. What is a house, if you inherit the fire?
