Beloved of All
Your burden for your friends and their children is clear, and it is right and good that you have brought them before the Lord in prayer. God sees the struggle, the addictions, the patterns of using others, and the pain this causes you as you have tried to help, to provide for the children, to encourage therapy and wiser choices, and to hold them accountable in love.
We will join you in persistent prayer, as Christ Himself taught us to keep asking and not give up, like the widow who kept coming to the judge and the friend who knocked at midnight. We do not need many words to be heard, but a faithful heart that keeps bringing people before God. Scripture reminds us that Jesus ever lives to make intercession for us and He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him. No addiction, no habit of lust or misuse of money, no history of poor decisions is beyond His power to save and to change when a person turns to Him.
We pray that both of your friends will come to see their need for help and for salvation through Jesus Christ alone. We do not ask God to bless relationships or sexual activity outside of His design, for marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and intimacy belongs only within it. Instead we ask that God would bring them to repentance, to a desire for purity and holiness, to turn away from drug and alcohol use and from seeking men in a way that harms themselves and their children, and to turn away from using and manipulating others for money.
We pray for deliverance from addiction and for a willingness to enter and remain in real help, whether counseling, rehab, or other faithful support, and for a new mind about money and stewardship. May God teach them to use what they have been given with responsibility and gratitude, and to walk away from pride and dependence on taking from others. We pray also for the children, who are impressionable and who see more than adults often realize. Ask God to protect them, to give them stability and truth, and to surround them with people who will show them a better way and keep them safe from the consequences of adult choices.
We also pray for you, that God will give you wisdom to love well without being used up, to set healthy boundaries that are both kind and truthful, and to continue to war a good warfare in prayer and in action. It is wise not to enable harmful patterns while still caring for the children and speaking the truth in love. God calls us not to remain children in our thinking, but to be mature and discerning, and to be like beloved children who imitate their Father in mercy and holiness. He also shows us that the desire for more money or for using others is not solved by having more, but by a changed heart.
So let us pray together:

Open their eyes to see the harm of their addictions and sexual immorality and financial choices, and bring them to repentance and faith in Christ. Deliver them from drugs and alcohol and lust and deceit, and give them a true desire for help and for a new life. Remove them from toxic surroundings and place them where they can receive sound help and learn to live responsibly. Protect their children and let them know Your care and truth. Give their friend who prays for them wisdom, strength, and grace to love with boundaries, to speak truth without cursing or condemning, and to keep interceding with hope. We ask this in the name of Jesus, who alone saves. Amen.
