Prayers

Prayers for health and doctor appointment tomorrow morning. Prayers for my mother’s health as well. And two other unspoken prayers. Thank you. Amen.

We join together with you in prayer for your health and for your doctor appointment tomorrow morning, for your mother's health, and for the two unspoken requests you hold in your heart.

We are encouraged that you have brought these needs before the Lord, for He cares deeply for you and for your mother. Scripture reminds us that God is our healer and our comfort. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 declares, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to Isaiah 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We also notice that your request closes with Amen but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To come to God we must believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died for our sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord. Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name we pray with confidence, and we encourage you to place your trust fully in Him for salvation and for every need.

We lift up your unspoken prayers as well, trusting that God knows what you cannot or do not wish to put into words. Romans 8:26 reminds us that the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered, and 1 John 5:14 assures us that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. We also remember Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that You are Yahweh who heals us and that You know every detail of our bodies and our lives. We lift up this dear one to You for tomorrow morning's doctor appointment. We ask for Your hand to guide the doctors, to give them wisdom, clarity and discernment, and to grant a good report. We pray for peace to guard this heart tonight, taking away anxiety and fear, and for Your healing touch upon any sickness or concern. We also lift up this beloved mother to You, asking that You would strengthen her body, restore her health, and surround her with Your comfort and care. Psalm 147:3 says You heal the broken in heart, and bind up their wounds, and we ask You to do that for both of them.

Father, we also bring the two unspoken requests before You. You know the depth of each one, the burdens behind them, and what is needed according to Your perfect will. We ask that You would answer according to Your wisdom and mercy, and that You would provide, protect, and lead in a way that brings glory to Your name and draws this heart closer to Jesus.

We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, trusting in His finished work on the cross for our forgiveness and access to You. Amen.

Thank you for letting us pray with you about tomorrow. We know how a morning appointment can sit heavy the night before, and even more when you are carrying concern for your mother at the same time.

We are lifting you, your mother, and those two unspoken matters to the Lord tonight. He knows the details you did not share and He hears the worry underneath each one.

For tomorrow morning, one simple thing that often helps is to go in prepared so you do not have to hold everything in your head. Tonight you might jot down any symptoms, medicines, and the main questions you want to ask, and bring a small notebook to write down what the doctor says. If you can, have someone you trust know about the appointment so they can pray and check in with you after.

We also join you in praying for your mom's health. It is a tender thing to watch someone you love need care while you are needing care yourself. We are asking God to give you both peace tonight, wisdom for the doctors, and clear next steps.

Father, we bring our friend to You tonight and ask for Your nearness and rest before tomorrow. Guide the appointment in the morning, give clarity to the doctor and peace to this heart. We lift this dear mother to You for Your care and strength, and we place the two unspoken requests in Your hands where nothing is hidden from You. Lead and comfort in the way only You can. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request has been brought before the Lord and we join you in seeking His mercy at the throne of grace.

We lift you up for health and for the doctor appointment tomorrow morning. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek a physician for our healing, and we pray that the Lord will give skill and wisdom to those who care for you, and that He will grant you peace as you wait upon Him. We pray also for your mother, that the Lord who is the Sun of Righteousness with healing in His wings would overshadow her and sustain her.

We remember that there is but one great Physician who lays His hands on men and they are restored, there is but one. There grows no healing herb but the one plant of renown. There is one sacred Fountain, to wash therein is health, there is but one, it was opened on Calvary. Jesus is the Tree of Life, and not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. Whether the healing needed is of body or of soul, pardon and healing are one in His hand, for when He says, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, healing flows from the pardoning hand.

We commit to Him also the two unspoken prayers which you have laid upon your heart. He knows what you cannot utter, and He hears the groaning that cannot be expressed. We ask that you may know His abiding power to keep the soul in perpetual health until the glory life begins, and that you may find that His salvation will perfectly heal and restore, for we are on our way to eternal health through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whom alone is salvation.

May the Lord grant you rest in His care tonight, guide the hands and counsel of your physician tomorrow, strengthen your mother according to her need, and answer your unspoken petitions according to His perfect wisdom and love. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our great Physician. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing your prayer needs with us. We join you in bringing them before the Lord who is merciful and hears prayer.

We pray for your health and for your doctor appointment tomorrow morning, that God would grant wisdom and discernment to the physician and that He would guide every decision for your good. We remember how Christ healed with a touch and restored perfect health at once, showing a power beyond any physician's art, and yet we also remember that care for the body is good and right, as Paul encouraged Timothy to attend to his often infirmities. We ask the Lord to work both through the skill of the doctor and by His own gracious power to sustain and strengthen you.

We also lift up your mother and her health, asking God in His mercy to preserve her, to comfort her, and to grant her renewed strength according to His will.

For the two unspoken prayers, we bring them before the Father who knows what is unspoken and understands the heart even when words are not given. We ask that He would meet each need according to His wisdom and goodness, and grant you peace as you trust Him.

May the Lord grant you confidence in His care, keep you from anxious fear, and help you to rest in His mercy. We continue to pray with you and for you.

In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
