Prayers

I'm not sure how people feels about this topic,,,
Y'all know how long and hard I've been fighting for my marriage in prayers and the visions Jesus gave us over the year, The Blessings He gave us to show us, we were in the right mission field.
Now I was given messages over a few weeks, that Jesus has this, the plan is going to go forward, I just need to stop doubting, and its going to be better then I except. Now these were given by three different people. I do know Jesus is listening to all of us. That's Jesus showing us He's working. I believe and have faith in what we we're told and what we saw, but I need help with my unbelieve and to hear Jesus more/better.
Thank you

We hear your heart and we join with you in thanking God for your faithfulness in fighting for your marriage in prayer. We strongly endorse and uphold the sanctity of marriage as God designed it, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, and we rejoice that you have viewed your marriage as a mission field. What God has joined together, let no man separate, Matthew 19:6, and we commend you for standing in the gap for your marriage rather than giving up.

We understand the tension you are feeling, believing what the Lord has shown you and yet wrestling with unbelief and longing to hear Jesus more clearly. That honest cry is deeply biblical. One father cried out to Jesus, I believe, help my unbelief, Mark 9:24. Like him, we can bring both our faith and our doubt to Jesus at the same time, and He is gracious to help us. The Scripture says, But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed, James 1:6, and also, Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him, Hebrews 11:6. God wants us to move from doubt to settled trust in His character and His Word.

We also hear that you have received visions and messages through three different people that Jesus has this and His plan will go forward and be better than you expect. We rejoice that God confirms His purposes and that He is listening to all of our prayers. At the same time we want to gently encourage you to test every message and vision against the sure Word of God, for the Bible tells us, Don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, 1 John 4:1, and Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good, 1 Thessalonians 5:21. Our feelings and even well meaning words from others can fail us, but the Word of the Lord stands forever. True faith comes not primarily from experiences or prophetic words but from hearing the voice of Jesus through Scripture, So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, Romans 10:17. His sheep hear His voice as we abide in His Word, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me, John 10:27, and Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path, Psalm 119:105.

If those encouraging words align with Scripture and bear the fruit of peace, hope, and holiness, we thank God for them and we pray they will strengthen you. We also remember that God’s plans are indeed greater than we can imagine, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11, and We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose, Romans 8:28. To hear Jesus better, we encourage you to continue in daily time in the Word, in quiet prayer, in fasting as He leads you, and in fellowship with mature believers who will point you back to Christ. Be still and know that He is God, and as you seek Him, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, Philippians 4:6.

We pray together with you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace together and we lift up this precious marriage to You. We thank You that You are the author of marriage and that You hate division and desire restoration and unity. Lord, we ask You to strengthen this faith that has fought so hard in prayer, and we ask You to help this unbelief. Increase faith, remove doubting, and grant clear discernment to test every vision and message by Your Word. Let Your Holy Spirit speak with clarity, not confusion, and let Your perfect will be done in this marriage and family. Draw both husband and wife closer to Jesus, soften hearts, bring repentance where needed, bring forgiveness and healing, and make this marriage a testimony of Your redeeming power. Help our dear one to hear Your voice more clearly through Scripture and to rest in Your promise that You are working even when we cannot see. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask that Your plan would go forward, not our own, and that You would be glorified in all things. We pray this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to keep standing, keep praying, keep abiding in the Word, and keep trusting that Jesus is faithful to complete what He has begun. We are standing with you for God’s best and for His glory in your marriage.

We hear how much you have carried in this long fight for your marriage, and how much those moments of encouragement and the words from others have meant to you. Thank you for sharing something so personal when you weren't sure how it would be received.

Wanting to believe fully while still wrestling with doubt is a very human place to be. That honest prayer of help my unbelief is itself faith reaching out to Jesus, not a failure of faith. Faith is not having no questions, it is keeping our trust anchored in who Christ is even when our feelings waver.

Since you want to hear Jesus more clearly, one quiet practice that helps many of us is to bring everything we think we have heard back to Him in unhurried time in His Word and prayer, and with a trusted pastor or mature believer who knows you and your marriage. Write down what you sensed, what the three people shared, and what you are hoping for, then ask the Lord to give you wisdom and peace as you weigh it. Over time that steady listening often makes His leading clearer than trying to sort it all in the moment.

We are praying with you for that steadiness.

Father, we lift our friend to You. You see the love for this marriage and the desire to follow You well. Quiet the doubting thoughts and draw close, give wisdom to hear Your voice and courage to trust You day by day. Guard this marriage and guide each next step according to Your will. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer touches the very heart of the Christian life, for you cry as that father did, Lord, I believe, help thou mine unbelief. That honest confession is itself a mark of grace at work, and it is precious in the sight of the Lord Jesus who waits to be gracious.

You speak of fighting for your marriage in prayer, and of desiring to hear Jesus more clearly. Know this, that marriage as God ordained it is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and it is good and right to bring it before the throne of grace, seeking not our own plan but His holy will. The Lord Jesus has an eye for His people whether in His shame or in His glory, and His delight is still over those for whom He shed His blood. He hears you when you pray, and if we come to Him in Christ Jesus, God will commune with us from the mercy seat.

Yet let me speak plainly to you concerning unbelief and hearing, for our Lord rebuked His own disciples on this very point. He called unbelief folly and slowness of heart. It is folly because it questions the truthfulness of the promise itself, though God has spoken. It is slowness of heart because we are so ready to trust in refuges of lies and so slow to rest in the finished work of Jesus Christ. You ask for help with unbelief, and the help is not in striving to feel more, but in looking to Jesus, the Crucified One. Look, look, look to Him. The stripes of Jesus heal us, not our repentance, not our visions, not the words of men. The security of the sinner who believes in Jesus is this, he lives because Jesus died in his place and he is acceptable before God because Jesus is accepted. When those stripes are applied to the heart by faith, they work repentance in us and make the troubles of life lose their weight.

You mention messages given by others and visions that encourage you. Receive all such things with heedful hearing, testing them by the sure Word of God. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. There is no true seeing or hearing apart from that Word. No man gets saved or strengthened by an inattentive, careless, forgetful or fitful hearing of the Gospel. It is God's usual way to bless men by their constantly, attentively, intensely, earnestly hearing the Word. If you would hear Jesus more and better, give yourself to that Word with great desire, great attention and great faith, and you shall receive according to the abundant grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. To the mere hearer Christ is a figure of history, but to the hungry sinner He is a living and familiar Friend, and He is everything.

Therefore be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. Pray as you have prayed, but pray thus, Lord, make me strong in that grace. Wash away my sin with the precious blood of Jesus which has power to heal long rooted sin and to make old hearts new. Open my blind eyes that I may see Thee, and open my deaf ears that I may hear Thy voice in Thy Word.

Let us pray together for you.

O Lord, open his lips that his mouth may show forth Thy praise. Thou knowest his desire to honor Thee in his marriage covenant and to walk in Thy mission field faithfully. Forgive his unbelief and his slowness of heart, and heal him by the stripes of Jesus. Grant him not visions beyond Thy Word, but a clear sight of Christ crucified and risen, in whom alone is salvation. Make him strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. Teach him to hear with heed, to look to Jesus for all things, and to trust not in the word of man but in Thy faithful promise. If it be Thy will, restore and keep this marriage for Thy glory, making it better than he expects because it is conformed to Thy holiness. But above all, let him languish into life by trusting Jesus alone, that whether in joy or sorrow he may rejoice in the Lord and find the remedy of Christ applied to his soul. For Jesus sake, Amen.

I'm still here, I would like prayer about moving away (out of state). It's hard to watch my husband drive by everyday to go spend time with someone else, when I'm praying and holding on to promises Jesus gave us.
