Beloved of All
We have heard your request and we are praying for you in this long and difficult season of waiting. Six weeks without work, with paperwork that seems to never end and with bills and uncertainty pressing in, is a heavy burden to carry, and we do not take it lightly.
We thank God that you are keeping your eyes on Him and trusting that He is in the midst of your situation. That trust is the right foundation. Scripture reminds us that the Lord is near to those who are discouraged and that He sees every detail of what you are enduring. He knows your body and your need for healing, He knows your financial needs, and He knows the frustration of dealing with workman's comp and with an employer who cannot yet take you back.
We are praying that God will bring healing to your body according to His mercy, that He will give wisdom and skill to those caring for you, and that He will provide for your daily needs while you are out of work. We are also praying for favor and clarity in the workman's comp process, that what is needed would be made clear and handled justly and without further delay, and for patience and peace for you as you wait.
In times like this it helps to remember that while people and systems may fail or cause hardship, no one can truly harm the soul of the one who walks faithfully with Christ. When we endure hardship with trust and without bitterness, God can turn even what is meant for trouble into good for us and into a crown of perseverance. Rather than letting the heart grow sharp toward those who seem to wrong us, we can ask God to keep our own hearts clean, to help us endure nobly, and even to pray for those who make the way harder. In that way the trial itself becomes a place where God forms character and shows His faithfulness.
So we pray for you now. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. You see the injury and the pain, the weeks away from work, and the worry over provision. Bring healing and strength to the body, grant complete recovery in Your timing, and guard the heart from fear and discouragement. Provide for every need, open the right doors, and give favor with those who handle the paperwork and decisions. Grant peace that goes beyond understanding, steady faith to keep praying, and the assurance that You are working even in this waiting. Help this one to rest in Your care and to trust Your goodness day by day. Amen.
