We join with you in bringing this need before our Heavenly Father and we pray together for this man that he would be granted more hours and opportunity to work at ###, and that if it is the Lord's will he would receive a call to come in.
We know that God cares about our daily needs and our work, for His Word tells us, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Col 3:23. We also take comfort in the promise, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Phil 4:19. We pray that God would provide for him according to His perfect wisdom and that this job would be a place where he can be a faithful steward, work with integrity, and be a light for Christ to coworkers and customers.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, and we lift up this man to You. Lord, You know his need for more hours and his desire to be called in to work. We ask that if it is Your will, You would open the door for additional hours and favor with his managers. Provide for his financial needs and give him diligence and a good testimony in his workplace. Help him to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be given to him as well Matt 6:33. Give him peace while he waits, and help him to trust in Your timing and Your provision. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We want to encourage you to continue to trust the Lord in this season of waiting. God honors honest and diligent work, and we are called to aspire to lead a quiet life, to do our own business, and to work with our own hands 1 Thess 4:11. Continue to be faithful in the hours you are given, be punctual, be respectful to those in authority, and work as unto the Lord, and the Lord will honor that faithfulness.
We also noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are saved and can boldly approach God in prayer. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ and to bring every request to God in His precious name.

We pray for ### who desires more hours at his place of labor, that the Lord who gives us power to get wealth and who opens His hand to supply our daily bread would grant him favor in the eyes of those who assign the hours, and if it be the Lord's will, that he would receive the call for which you ask. We pray that the work of his hands would be established before the Lord, for as it is written, Let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us and establish Thou the work of our hands.
We are taught in Scripture that the work of Christ for us and the work of the Holy Spirit in us does not make us idle, but rather excites us to labor. Where God works within, man labors without, striving with all diligence. May this dear one be found faithful in whatever hours are given him, working not as unto men but heartily as unto the Lord, for honest labor is honorable in the sight of God. Our Savior said, I must work the works of Him that sent Me while it is day, for the night comes when no man can work. So while the day of opportunity is given, may he be diligent, punctual, and cheerful in his calling, that his employer may see Christ in his faithfulness.
We pray also that he would look beyond the provision of wages to the Provider Himself.
