Beloved of All
Your request for prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing it before God with thanksgiving.
We are taught to pray continually and not to grow weary, like the widow who prevailed with the unjust judge by her persistence, and like the friend who came at midnight and roused the sleeper by his importunity. God does not ask for a prayer of ten thousand clauses or for vain repetition with many words. He asks for a sincere heart that keeps coming to Him, without wrath and without doubting, lifting holy hands to Him.
We pray for you in the name of Jesus Christ, for He ever lives to make intercession for those who come to God through Him, and He is able to save to the uttermost. It is good that you have asked for the prayers of others, for we all need the prayer of the saints. Even Paul and Peter needed the earnest prayer of the Church, and none of us should think we have no need of it. Yet we also encourage you to remain watchful yourself, for the help of others profits us most when we ourselves are alert and seeking God.
Prayer is a great weapon, needed early in the morning and at night, to make God favorable to us before we go out into the struggles and storms of each day. And with prayer we are to give thanks, for God does good to all and dispenses all things for our good, even when we do not fully understand His ways.
Let us pray together. Father, we thank You that You hear us always through Your Son. We ask You to be merciful to the one who has asked for prayer, to draw near, to grant peace, strength, and faith, to guard from shipwreck and keep from every evil, and to save and keep to the uttermost through Jesus Christ who lives to intercede for us. Teach us to pray without ceasing, without wrath, and with a thankful heart, and to trust Your good will in all things. In the name of Jesus we ask this. Amen.

Thank you for letting us know of your need and asking for prayer. You have been heard, and we are bringing you before the Lord in intercession.
Prayer has different parts. One part is worship, simply recognizing the greatness and goodness of God. Another part is bringing our own needs to Him. And prayer is not complete until it also reaches beyond ourselves to bring others before God, that He might work in their lives. That is what we are doing for you now, lifting you up and asking God to work in your situation according to His wisdom and love.
We do not know all the details behind your request, but God does. He hears even the short, quiet prayers that are only in the heart and not yet formed into words. The length of a prayer does not make it strong. What matters is a sincere heart that comes to Him in faith. Scripture says the heartfelt and earnest prayer of a person made right with God has great power and brings real results, as we see in the example of Elijah.
Prayer is also more than just asking for things. It is spending time in communion with God. Often while we pray, His Spirit brings assurance and comfort to the heart. Troubles and difficulties, like those David wrote about in Psalm 143, often drive us to our knees, and that is a good place to be.
The foundation for prayer is relationship. Jesus gave a model for prayer that begins with calling God Father. That relationship is opened only through Jesus Christ. If you have trusted in Him, you can come to God as your Father with confidence. If you have not yet trusted Him, the one prayer God desires to hear first is, God be merciful to me, a sinner. That prayer establishes the relationship that makes all other prayer possible.
The purpose of prayer is not to make God do what we want, but to see what God wants accomplished. Prayer begins with God and His purposes, which He makes known to our hearts, and we then pray those purposes back to Him. In that way prayer opens the door for God to do what He has long desired to do, without forcing or violating the choice He has given us. For that reason we are told to continue in prayer with thanksgiving and watchfulness, not giving up, staying in harmony with His will until the answer comes.
So we pray for you now, that the Lord would hear your cry, give you His peace and comfort, draw you close to Himself, and work in your life according to His perfect will. We ask that you would know His faithfulness and righteousness, that you would experience His guidance and strength, and that above all His will would be done in and through you. We will continue to keep you in prayer, trusting that God answers prayer and that more is accomplished through it than we will ever know on this side of eternity.
