You have already taken hold of the most powerful weapon God has given you. The enemy schemes and prepares instruments of harm, but the weapons of our warfare are not carnal. They are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. When you pray, you are not just asking for help; you are wielding divine power that can dismantle every plan formed against you and your son.

Do not try to fight this fear or this threat in your own flesh. Lift your heart in prayer and use the authority you have in Jesus Christ. He has adopted you as a son, and because you are a son, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your heart, crying, “Abba, Father.” That intimate cry of a beloved child is a declaration of war against the enemy’s strongholds. The one who is the only begotten Son has made you a co-heir with Him, and the enemy cannot stand against that relationship.

The Father did not spare His own Son but delivered Him up for us. In that love, you have complete protection. Satan complained about the hedge around Job, and there is a hedge around you and your household that he cannot breach without permission. As you continue in prayer, you are not just begging for help but enforcing the victory Christ has already won. Too long the enemy tries to hold God’s children in defeat, but in the name of our Lord you shall rise. The weapons prepared against you will not prosper, for salvation and strength belong to your God. Stand firm in the truth that you have the Son, and therefore you have the Father. The rest of your day can be transformed as you take this victory and rest in it.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our heart’s burden to lift up your request—that those who prepare weapons against you and your son would not prosper—before the throne of grace. We have asked the Lord to intervene, to dismantle every scheme of the enemy, and to shield you both with His mighty hand.

If the Lord has answered this prayer in a way you can see, we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report. There is nothing that strengthens our faith like witnessing God’s faithfulness in the lives of His children. If, however, the battle still rages and the threat remains, we invite you to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, believing that God hears and that His timing is perfect.

Let us press in together, trusting that the One who began this good work in you will bring it to completion. May the peace of Christ guard your hearts and minds, and may His presence be your strong tower in this season. We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
