I would really appreciate it if you could send me some simple prayers that I could pray every day after I've said the Our Father and one on repentance.

Here are a few suggestions:

**Simple Daily Prayer:**

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your love and mercy.
Guide me through this day with your wisdom and strength.
Help me to be a light to others and to live according to your will.
In Jesus' name, I pray.
Amen.

**Prayer on Repentance:**

Lord,
I come before you with a humble heart,
acknowledging my sins and shortcomings.
Forgive me for the times I have strayed from your path.
Help me to turn away from my wrongdoings
and to walk in your ways.
Grant me the grace to repent and to grow in your love.
In Jesus' name, I pray.
Amen.

We hear your heart’s desire to draw nearer to God through daily prayer and repentance, and we rejoice that you seek to align your life with His will. The prayers you’ve shared are beautiful and sincere, rooted in humility and dependence on the Lord. We would be honored to offer additional simple prayers that you can incorporate into your daily time with God, always remembering that it is through the name of Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18).

First, let us address the foundation of your prayer life. While the "Our Father" is a wonderful model prayer given by Jesus Himself (Matthew 6:9-13), it is essential to remember that all prayer must be offered in the name of Jesus, for He is the only mediator between God and humanity (1 Timothy 2:5). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Salvation comes through confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most important step in a life of prayer.

Now, let us offer a few simple daily prayers that you can pray after the "Our Father," always closing in Jesus’ name:

---
Morning Prayer of Surrender:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of this new day. As we rise, we surrender our hearts, minds, and bodies to You. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit so that we may walk in Your ways and reflect Your love to everyone we encounter. Help us to seek Your kingdom above all else (Matthew 6:33) and to trust in Your provision and guidance. Guard our hearts from temptation and deliver us from evil. May our thoughts, words, and actions bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Prayer for Wisdom and Discernment:
Lord God, we ask for Your wisdom to guide us in every decision we face today. Your Word tells us that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask You, and You will give it generously (James 1:5). Help us to discern Your will in all things and to walk in obedience to Your commands. Protect us from the schemes of the enemy and lead us in the paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Prayer for Strength and Courage:
Almighty God, we confess that apart from You, we can do nothing (John 15:5). Strengthen us with Your power so that we may stand firm in our faith and resist the temptations of this world. Give us courage to share the gospel with boldness and to live as lights in a dark world (Philippians 2:15). When we are weak, remind us that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Evening Prayer of Gratitude and Reflection:
Gracious Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness throughout this day. As we reflect on the hours that have passed, we ask for Your forgiveness for the times we fell short of Your glory. Help us to learn from our mistakes and to grow in holiness. We thank You for Your mercy, which is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). Fill us with peace as we rest in You, and prepare our hearts for the day ahead. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

---

Regarding repentance, your prayer is a wonderful start. Repentance is not just feeling sorry for our sins but turning away from them and toward God with a heart transformed by His grace. The Bible tells us that godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret (2 Corinthians 7:10). Let us offer a prayer of repentance that aligns with Scripture, acknowledging our need for God’s forgiveness and the power of the Holy Spirit to change us:

---
Prayer of Repentance:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken and contrite hearts (Psalm 51:17). We confess that we have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done and by what we have left undone. We have not loved You with our whole hearts, nor have we loved our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-39). Forgive us, Lord, for the times we have strayed from Your commands and pursued our own desires.

We repent of [mention any specific sins the Holy Spirit brings to mind, such as pride, anger, lust, gossip, idolatry, or unforgiveness]. Cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9) and create in us clean hearts, O God (Psalm 51:10). Renew a right spirit within us and restore the joy of Your salvation. Help us to walk in Your ways and to bear fruit in keeping with repentance (Matthew 3:8). We ask this not because we deserve it, but because of the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who paid the price for our sins on the cross. In His precious name, we pray. Amen.

---

We encourage you to make prayer a daily habit, not just as a ritual but as a vital conversation with the Living God. The Bible tells us to "pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and to "devote [ourselves] to prayer, being watchful and thankful" (Colossians 4:2). As you pray, immerse yourself in Scripture, for it is the Word of God that equips us for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Let the truth of God’s Word shape your prayers and your life.

Finally, we want to gently address a concern in your request. While we appreciate the sincerity of your prayers, we noticed that you did not explicitly mention praying in Jesus’ name in your initial examples. We cannot overstate the importance of this, for Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you" (John 16:23). There is no other name by which we can approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet committed your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Jesus to be the Lord of your life. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

May the Lord bless you as you seek Him daily. May your prayers draw you closer to His heart, and may His Word transform you from glory to glory. We pray that you would experience the fullness of life that comes from walking in obedience to Him. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Oh, we’re so glad you’re seeking to make prayer a daily anchor in your life, it’s such a beautiful way to start and end each day with the Lord. We want to add a few simple but heartfelt prayers you might find encouraging to pray alongside the Our Father and repentance.

First, let’s pray for peace in the midst of life’s storms. Maybe you’ve been carrying some worries or anxieties, let’s lift those to the Lord together:

"Lord Jesus, we come to You with our weary hearts and restless minds. You’ve promised to give us peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7), so we surrender our fears and uncertainties to You. Calm our nerves, quiet our thoughts, and remind us that You hold every tomorrow in Your hands. Help us to trust You even when we don’t see the path ahead. In Your name, we pray. Amen."

Another prayer we’d love for you to pray is one of thanksgiving for His faithfulness. Even on days when things feel small or unnoticed, God is still at work. Let’s thank Him for His goodness:

"Father God, we pause right now to thank You for Your unfailing love. You’ve been faithful when we’ve been forgetful, kind when we’ve been unkind, and patient when we’ve been impatient. Thank You for the blessings we often overlook, the sunrise, a kind word, a quiet moment of rest. Help us to see Your hand in everything and to respond with gratitude. May our lives overflow with thanksgiving, reflecting Your goodness to those around us. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

And if you’re feeling especially heavy with repentance, let’s add this simple yet powerful prayer to your time:

"Lord, we confess that we’ve fallen short, so many times, in so many ways. But Your mercy is greater than our sins, and Your grace is enough. Forgive us for the times we’ve chosen our own way over Yours. Cleanse our hearts, renew our minds, and give us the strength to walk in obedience today. Help us to bear fruit that honors You, not ourselves. We love You, and we trust You to make us new. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

We’re praying that as you spend time with the Lord each day, He would speak to your heart in fresh ways. Keep pressing in, He’s right there with you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
