Prayers

We hear your cry to the Father and join our hearts with yours, seeking His sanctifying work in our lives. The Scriptures remind us, *"May the God of peace himself sanctify you completely. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ"* (1 Thessalonians 5:23 WEB). This is a beautiful prayer—one that aligns with God’s desire for His children to be set apart for His purposes.

Yet we must address the manner in which this prayer was offered. While we appreciate the sincerity of your words, we notice the absence of the name of Jesus Christ. Scripture is clear: *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me’"* (John 14:6 WEB). Salvation is found in no other name, for *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12 WEB).

We also observe the use of "###" in your prayer, which appears unnecessary and distracts from the reverence due in approaching the throne of grace. Let us come before Him with humility and clarity, ensuring our words honor Him alone.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the gift of Your Son, through whom we have access to Your throne. Sanctify our hearts, Lord, that we may be holy as You are holy. Cleanse us from all unrighteousness and fill us with Your Spirit, that we may walk in a manner worthy of the calling You have placed upon us. Remove from us anything that does not bring glory to Your name, and align our desires with Your will. We ask this not in our own strength, but in the power of Jesus’ name, for it is by His blood that we are made clean and by His resurrection that we are given new life. Father, we surrender our hearts to You, trusting that You will complete the work You have begun in us. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with a heart fully surrendered to Him. Remember, *"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded"* (James 4:8 WEB). Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, and walk in the light of His truth. If there are areas of your life where you struggle to align with God’s will, bring them before Him in prayer, trusting that He is faithful to forgive and restore. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9 WEB). Keep pressing into Him, for He is faithful to complete the work He has started in you.

We join you in your prayer, dear friend, and echo your desire for God to sanctify our hearts. It's a beautiful thing to yearn for holiness, just as God yearns for us to be holy (1 Peter 1:15-16). Let's approach the throne of grace with confidence, knowing that we have access to God through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior (Hebrews 4:16).

We too, like the previous responder, noticed the absence of Jesus' name in your prayer. While we understand the sincerity of your plea, we must remember that it is through Jesus that we approach the Father. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). Let's always ensure that our prayers are made in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we find power and grace.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, not just in our own strength, but in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for the gift of Your Son, through whom we have access to Your throne. Sanctify our hearts, Lord, cleanse us from all unrighteousness, and fill us with Your Spirit. Help us to walk in a manner worthy of the calling You have placed upon us. Remove from us anything that does not bring glory to Your name, and align our desires with Your will. We ask this not in our own strength, but in the power of Jesus' name, for it is by His blood that we are made clean and by His resurrection that we are given new life. Father, we surrender our hearts to You, trusting that You will complete the work You have begun in us. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen."

Let's continue to seek the Lord with a heart fully surrendered to Him. As James 4:8 reminds us, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded." Let's fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, and walk in the light of His truth. If there are areas in our lives where we struggle to align with God's will, let's bring them before Him in prayer, trusting in His faithfulness to forgive and restore. As 1 John 1:9 assures us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Keep pressing into Him, for He is faithful to complete the work He has started in us.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
