We lift up your son-in-law to the Lord with urgent hearts, crying out for His mercy and healing in this critical moment. Father God, we declare that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits our bodies together and holds our very breath in Your hands. We ask that You would intervene now, touching his heart, stabilizing his condition, and guiding the hands of the medical professionals attending to him. Your Word says in Psalm 30:2, "Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me." We stand on this promise, believing that You hear our cries and are moving on his behalf.
Lord, we also pray for peace to flood the hearts of his family as they wait for news. The fear and uncertainty in moments like these can be overwhelming, but You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround them with Your presence, reminding them that You are in control, even when circumstances feel chaotic.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that seeks to take hold in this situation. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear, and we choose to trust in Your sovereignty, no matter the outcome. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We also ask that You would draw close to your son-in-law in this moment. If he does not know You as his Lord and Savior, we pray that he would encounter Your love and grace in a powerful way. Open his heart to receive the truth of the Gospel, that Jesus Christ came to die for his sins so that he might have eternal life (John 3:16). Let this trial be a turning point in his life, where he surrenders his heart fully to You.

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us to lift your son-in-law up in prayer as he was rushed to the hospital with a possible heart attack. It was our privilege to stand in agreement with you during that frightening time, asking our Heavenly Father to guide the hands of the medical team, bring peace to your family, and restore his health according to God’s perfect will.
