Prayers

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who has suffered a fall and broken a leg. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We ask, in the mighty name of Jesus, that You would intervene in this situation and bring complete restoration without the need for surgery. Your Word declares in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We claim this promise over this situation, Lord.

We pray for a quick and full healing, that the bones would knit together perfectly according to Your divine design. May there be no complications, and may the pain be eased as Your healing hand rests upon this beloved child of Yours. Jeremiah 30:17 says, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise, believing that You are working even now to bring healing and wholeness.

Lord, we also ask that You would grant wisdom to the doctors and medical staff attending to this situation. Guide their hands and their decisions, that they may be instruments of Your healing power. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."

We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take hold in this time of trial. We declare that perfect love casts out fear, and we choose to trust in You, Lord, who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (1 John 4:18, Psalm 46:1).

We also encourage this dear one to draw near to You, Father, in this time of recovery. May this season be one of spiritual growth and deeper intimacy with You. May they find comfort in Your presence and strength in Your Word. Isaiah 41:10 says, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect will for this situation. May Your name be glorified through this trial, and may this dear one experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Let's continue to lift up our sister in prayer. We've been reminded of God's healing power and His promise to restore health and heal wounds. Let's also remember to intercede for her family and friends, that they too may find strength and comfort in these days. We can pray that God would grant them patience, understanding, and unity as they care for her. Let's also ask for God's protection over her, that no spirit of discouragement or despair would take root. We trust that God is in control and that He will use this situation for her good and His glory. Let's keep her in our prayers, believing for a speedy recovery and a testimony of God's faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
