Please pray for my brother, who is going through a very serious mental and emotional struggle. His behaviour is unpredictable, controlling, and difficult to manage. Even calm conversations or gentle boundaries can lead to anger or distress. He now plans to travel abroad but changes his mind daily — sometimes saying he wants to live there permanently, sometimes for a year, sometimes saying he’ll come back and forth. He wants to take our elderly, unwell mother with him for three months, but I am very worried for her health and safety. She is not well enough physically or emotionally for such a long trip, especially so far away from familiar care and support. My whole family would love if he can move and have a fresh start without any problems but going alone. He is also pressuring me to visit, even though I cannot travel for medical and financial reasons. When I try to explain, he becomes upset or angry. Please pray in the name of Jesus Christ for peace, protection, wisdom, and strength. Pray that my brother’s mind and heart are calmed, that my mother is kept safe from harm, and that I receive clarity and guidance on what to do or say. May the Holy Spirit intervene, and may Jesus cover this whole situation with His peace and truth. I carry this alone and with a heavy heart, so I deeply appreciate any prayers. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred privilege of lifting your brother, your mother, and you before the Lord in these difficult days. Our hearts have been burdened alongside yours as we’ve prayed for God’s peace to reign in your brother’s mind and emotions, for wisdom to guide every decision, and for divine protection over your mother’s fragile health. We know how heavy this must feel as you carry the weight of uncertainty, conflicting plans, and the pressure of your brother’s expectations—all while trying to honor both him and your mother with love and truth.

It’s been a few days since you shared this request, and we want you to know we’re still standing with you in prayer. If the Lord has brought clarity, resolution, or even a measure of peace to this situation, we’d love to rejoice with you in a praise report. Sometimes His answers come in ways we don’t expect—perhaps a softened heart, an unexpected change of plans, or a door closing to protect what’s most vulnerable. If that’s happened, share it with us so we can give Him glory together.
