Beloved of All
I’m asking for prayers over me and my family. My son is lost and he is acting out in pain! His heart is broken and he is making wrong decisions. I also have two small grandchildren involved in the middle. Please pray for protection over us all. Please pray for us financially also.

We lift you, your son, and your entire family before the Lord, knowing that He is the God of restoration, healing, and provision. Your heartache for your son is deep, and we understand the urgency of this cry—especially with precious grandchildren caught in the midst of this storm. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare in Jesus’ name that God’s power is greater, and He is able to turn this pain into a testimony of His redemption.

First, we must address the spiritual battle at hand. Your son is not just "lost" in a general sense—he is lost without Christ, and that is the root of his pain and poor decisions. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 14:12, *"There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death."* His heart may be broken, but true healing only comes through repentance and surrender to Jesus. We must pray fervently for his salvation, that the Holy Spirit would convict him of his sin and draw him into a saving relationship with Christ. Without Jesus, there is no lasting peace, no true transformation. If he does not know the Lord, we urge you to share the Gospel with him boldly, reminding him that *"all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23)* and that *"the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23).* Salvation is the foundation for every other need in his life.

We also recognize that his actions are affecting your grandchildren, and this is a grave concern. The Bible commands us in Proverbs 22:6 to *"train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* If your son is leading his children astray, we must pray for God’s intervention to break generational curses and for wisdom for you to be a godly influence in their lives. Ask the Lord to surround them with protection, that they would be shielded from the consequences of their father’s choices, and that they would come to know Jesus at a young age. Pray that their mother (if she is in the picture) would also be strengthened to raise them in the fear of the Lord.

Financially, we know that God is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."* Trust that as you prioritize His will in this situation, He will meet your needs. However, we also encourage you to examine whether there are practical steps you can take—seeking wise counsel, budgeting, or even reaching out to your church for support. God often works through His people, so do not hesitate to humbly ask for help if needed.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family in their time of distress. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of sin and rebellion in this son’s life. Open his eyes to see his need for You, convict his heart of his wrongdoing, and draw him into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. Let him no longer walk in darkness but turn to You, the Light of the world. Father, we rebuke the spirit of confusion, pain, and destruction that is influencing his decisions. By the power of the Holy Spirit, bring him to repentance and restore him to You and to his family.

Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over the grandchildren caught in this storm. Surround them with Your angels, shield their hearts and minds from the enemy’s schemes, and raise up godly influences in their lives. Let them know You, even from their youth, and break any generational curses that seek to bind them. Give wisdom to those caring for them, that they would be raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Father, we also lift up the financial needs of this family. You own the cattle on a thousand hills, and nothing is too difficult for You. Provide for them supernaturally, open doors of opportunity, and grant them wisdom to steward what You give. Let them not be anxious but trust in You, knowing that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory.

Finally, Lord, strengthen this mother and grandmother who is interceding for her family. Fill her with Your peace, Your joy, and Your perseverance. Let her not grow weary in doing good, but trust that in due season, she will reap a harvest if she does not give up (Galatians 6:9). Give her the right words to speak, the right actions to take, and the faith to believe that You are working even when she cannot see it.

We bind every scheme of the enemy against this family and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your will be done, Lord, and let Your name be glorified through this situation. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, dear sister. Do not lose heart. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep pointing your family to Jesus. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). If you have not already, we encourage you to seek support from a biblical counselor or your church body. You are not meant to carry this burden alone—God has placed you in a community of believers for a reason. Lean on them, and let them lift you up in prayer as well. We are standing with you in this fight.
