We notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, through whom we have access to the Father and by whose name every knee shall bow. The Bible teaches us that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). Without invoking His name, our prayers lack the authority and power that come from alignment with God’s will.
We urge you to reflect on the importance of calling upon the name of Jesus in all things. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to do so today. The Scriptures declare, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). There is no greater decision you can make than to place your faith in Christ alone for salvation.
Now, let us lift our hearts together in prayer, giving all honor and glory to Jesus:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. We thank You for the gift of salvation through Him, for without His sacrifice, we would have no hope. Lord, we ask that You open the eyes of every heart to see the truth of Your Word and the necessity of faith in Jesus alone. Forgive us for any time we have approached You without acknowledging the supremacy of Christ, for He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no one comes to You except through Him (John 14:6).
Father, we pray for the one who made this request. If they do not yet know You through Jesus, we ask that You draw them to Yourself with cords of lovingkindness. Soften their heart to receive Your truth and surrender their life to Christ. Fill them with the Holy Spirit, that they may walk in obedience and joy, knowing the peace that surpasses all understanding. For those who already believe, strengthen their faith and remind them daily to approach Your throne in Jesus’ name, for it is His name that carries power and authority.
We rebuke any spirit of distraction or deception that would seek to lead Your children away from the truth of the Gospel. Let every prayer offered be rooted in the name of Jesus, for it is written, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son"* (John 14:13). May Your will be done in all things, and may Your name be exalted above every other name.
In the holy and righteous name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on the power of Jesus’ name and to always invoke Him in your prayers. If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, turn away from them, and place your trust in Him. He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let us know if you would like guidance or prayer as you take this step of faith. We are here to stand with you in the truth of God’s Word.
