We understand that you are seeking discernment, guidance, wisdom, strength, and knowledge for you and someone close to you. You are also requesting protection from various people and the removal of obstacles in your lives, as well as the opening of new paths and restoration. We are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance.
Firstly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to come in the name of Jesus as you pray to God.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will for this person and the one they are interceding for. We pray that You grant them the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, that the eyes of their hearts may be enlightened, that they may know what is the hope of Your calling, and what are the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints. We ask You to guide them and give them discernment, that they may walk in the spirit and not fulfill the lust of the flesh. We ask that You strengthen them with might through Your Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith. Grant them knowledge of your will with all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that they may walk worthy of You, pleasing all around them, and being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.
Lord, we also ask for Your protection over them, that You would hide them from their trespassers, and that You, Yourself would be a wall of fire around them, and the glory in their midst, keeping their neighbors, families, and coworkers from doing them harm. We pray that You will be their strong tower and their fortress as they trust in You. We ask that You bind the blockages and hindrances and cast them as far as the east is from the west. We declare that Your word shall accomplish that which You please, and shall prosper in the thing whereto You sent it as it is written in Isaiah 55:11 WEB.
Lastly, Father, we ask that You open new paths for them and restore the places long devastated. We stand on Your word in Isaiah 43:19 WEB, where You said, "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." We trust that You will make a way for them, even where there seems to be no way.
We pray all these things in Jesus' name, and we thank You that You hear us and that we have the petitions that we desired of You, that You hear us, and that we have the petitions that we have desired of You. Amen.
We encourage you both to study the scriptures daily and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ with all your heart.
