We are so glad to join you in prayer and to help guide you in your walk with the Lord. It's wonderful to see your desire to know God more and to seek His will for your life. God encourages us to come to Him in prayer, and we are instructed in First Thessalonians 5:17 to "Pray without ceasing."
Firstly, let's address your request for faith and knowing God more. In James 4:8, we are told that if we draw near to God, then He draws near to us. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Therefore, spending time in God's Word is essential for growing your faith and knowing God more intimately. We encourage you to set aside dedicated time each day to study the Bible and to pray.
Concerning your request about finding a wife and knowing God's will for you regarding marriage, we want to encourage you to trust God in this aspect of your life. It's great that you are seeking God's will to be the guide. In Psalm 37:4 we read, Delight yourself also in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Be sure to not be unequally yoked by being joined to a spouse that is not a Christian Believer. Second Corinthians 6:14 warns us to not be joined to an unbeliever.
Be patient and trust in God's timing. God has a plan and a purpose for each one of us, and He will reveal His will to you as you seek Him wholeheartedly. Remember that God's Word tells us in Psalm 32:8, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you."
God's design for mankind is to know Him and glorify Him. The Gospel message is clear that we have all sinned and fallen short of His glory. The result of our sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. How do we access this gift? Romans 10:9 says, "if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Regarding your desire to know the Gospels and the New Covenant more, we encourage you to begin a daily reading plan that focuses on the New Testament. The Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John will give you a wonderful start. As you read, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth to you and to help you understand the Scriptures more deeply.
Being faithful to God, brave, and courageous are all qualities that God desires for us to have. The Bible tells us that we have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Therefore, we can face whatever comes our way with confidence and courage, knowing that God is always with us and working on our behalf.
In Second Timothy 1:7 we are told that we are not given a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power, of love, and of a sound mind.
Attending a church is an important part of your walk with God. It allows you to fellowship with other believers, to worship God corporately, and to grow in your faith. We encourage you to find a Bible-believing church in your area where you can become actively involved.
In regards to work and career, Colossians 3:23 tells us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." Always remember to keep God at the center of your career and to seek His will for your professional life.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother in prayer. Lord, we ask that You would increase his faith and draw him closer to You. Give him a hunger and a thirst for Your Word, and help him to know You more intimately.
Father, we pray for Your will to be revealed to him regarding marriage. Guide him to the spouse that You have prepared for him, and help him to be patient as he waits on Your timing.
Lord, we ask that You would give him a deep understanding of the Gospels and the New Covenant. Open his eyes to the truths of Your Word, and help him to apply them to his life.
Father, we pray that You would make him a man of courage, faithfulness, and bravery. Help him to stand strong in the face of adversity, knowing that You are always with him.
Lord, we ask that You would guide him to a Bible-believing church where he can grow in his faith and fellowship with other believers.
Finally, Father, we pray for Your guidance in his career. Help him to keep You at the center of all that he does, and to seek Your will for his professional life.
In the precious name of Jesus, we believe and pray knowing that you hear our requests and answer. Amen.
Continue to pour out your heart to God, knowing that He hears you and that He cares about every detail of your life. Trust in Him, and rest in His love for you. Psalm 62:8 says, "Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us."
