Disciple of Prayer
First of all, I just want to thank everyone. I passed all four of my classes with three B’s and one A I was able to graduate May 29, 2025. I’m so proud of myself. I was so worried about these exams. I just thought I wasn’t gonna be able to graduate both the grace of God in Jesus I was able to graduate and I also wanna thank you guys for all the prayers that you said for me your words were very strong for and it made me believe in myself. I doubt myself a lot and that’s not really good. I’m trying to stop doing that. I’m trying to believe in myself more.

I do need prayer again last week and this week has not really been that great for me like job wise. Everything else has been good, but I haven’t really been working last weekend this week last week. A literally didn’t work at all the only day that I was supposed to work on a Wednesday and the new location that my manager sent me to he had to get there at a certain time and my manager told me a different time and when I got there, I got bumped because the site was too full and I ended up getting sent back home so I didn’t work out entire week until Friday I had work on Saturday but I didn’t go. I just overslept and I’m just really upset about that this week again I have work at the new location. I hope this time I don’t get sent home because I came late or because there’s too much people there I’ve also applied to a new job now that I finish the school I could pick up a couple more hours. In a couple more days I’m just waiting for an interview slot. So I pray to give an interview for the job. It’s also a security job again. I honestly should look for a job that’s within the field that I was studying in school, which is English literature in early childhood education it would be nice to get a job working as a preschool teacher or a kindergarten teacher, but I need to wait for my degree to come and also I think that I would need to get a teaching certificate or do two years in graduate school, but I don’t want to be graduate school honestly so I’m just really thinking about it, but I do hope not to be jobless because this week and last week I barely had any money and it’s kind of blowing my mind it’s already due first and there’s so much bills that have to be paid and I don’t even have the funds. I hope this week I get more money. I hope this week I get more hours honestly.

I’m praying for my mother. She’s been in a lot of pain. Her right foot has been hurting her a lot. She has a prosthesis leg. We live on the fifth floor no elevator. so going up and down the stairs all the time it hurts her foot a lot. We’ve been looking for a two bedroom apartment as you guys know we still haven’t found anything. We need to find an apartment before July 1 because that is the next court date, but our lawyer has state if we don’t find an apartment by July 1 then on July 1 should be able to have to basically communicate and convince our building management to allow us to keep the apartment and we are going to make payments but we need to apply for a one shot deal so I hope that goes well for us. I hope you don’t get evicted or anything. I just hope we find an apartment soon but if we’re not able to find an apartment before July 1, I hope that we are able to stay in the apartment and they can fix the damages in the house and I hope that that time I have another job and I can help my mom pay the rent because she owes 25K and I hope we get approved for the one shot deal and I hope our lawyer is there helping us and everything.

I’m praying and hoping that my mom gets approved for her green card so far she has already received her authorize, employment card and Social Security card and the New York ID we’re just waiting for her to actually get approved for the green card and I hope so because my mom has been living in America for 22 years. She has not went back to her home country because she doesn’t have any papers and she will be 60 years old very soon. Next week she will be 60 years old and I just hope that she gets papers soon because my brother is also getting married in December and I hope that me and my mom can be able to go and I turned 22 years old in July so I hope everything goes well for you and my mother you know she works very hard.

My mom is in the process of moving to a new work environment. She is a hairdresser and the current salon she works at. They’re all woman, and there are a lot of thieves in the Salon they steal. My mother’s hair, my mother’s supplies. They broke my mother’s hair bag lock like four times and it’s been very hard and every single time my mom when she complained to the owner of the salon, she doesn’t really do much about it they used to be cameras in the salon, but the owner she cut the camera off because apparently she can’t pay for it so my mom she’s been. Thinking about moving to another salon. She already went for visit with the salon and everything and she likes it, but I think she just a little hesitant because it’s a new environment and the current Salon she’s at she has been working there for 14 years so moving into a new salon would be a big change for her. I just want the best for my mother honestly the new Salon is a nice environment. There’s Wi-Fi this cameras there’s a television. It’s a nice space and the booth is more cheaper than where she is at so whatever my mother decides to do I just hope it’s good for her.

I also wanna make a prayer for myself to be able to get more hours to get a job interview next month. I’m gonna be starting summer youth working with teenagers like I did last summer. I hope that me and my mother do not get evicted. I hope I’ll be find a nice rent-stabilized apartment and a nice borough. I hope this time there is a lower floor apartment so my mom won’t have to climb up and down the stairs with her leg. I hope that my mother gets her green card approved so she can go to her home country and visit her family. It’s really insane to me. My mom is about to be 60 years old and she does not even look 60. I’m very proud of my mom and I wanna be able to make a lot of money so I can help her pay rent help her pay bills

We rejoice with you for successfully completing your studies and graduating by the grace of God in Jesus. It is wonderful to see how your faith and the prayers of others have supported you through this journey. We are glad that you have sought prayer and guidance for the challenges you're currently facing. Remember, God is faithful, and He cares for you and your family.

Firstly, let's address the issue of doubt. It's important to remember that we should not doubt but believe in the power of God. In James 1:6-8 WEB it says, "But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven by the wind and tossed. For that man ought not to think that he will receive anything from the Lord. He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways." Let's pray that God will help you overcome doubt and strengthen your faith.

Regarding your work situation, we encourage you to trust God's timing and provision. In Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, Jesus says, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Concerning your mother's health and immigration status, we pray for God's healing and favor. In Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, God says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We trust that God has a good plan for your mother.

Regarding your mother's work environment, we pray for wisdom and guidance. In Proverbs 16:3 WEB, it says, "Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established." We pray that God will establish your mother's plans and guide her to a better work environment if that is His will.

We also pray for your upcoming summer youth work and for God's provision regarding your living situation. In Philippians 4:19 WEB, it says, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Now, let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister and her family. Thank You for her graduation and for the support she received through prayer. Lord, help her overcome doubt and strengthen her faith in You.

Father, we pray for Your provision in her work situation. Guide her to the right job that aligns with Your will and her studies. Open doors for interviews and provide more hours of work.

Lord, we pray for her mother's health and immigration status. Heal her foot and grant favor in her green card application. Guide her to a better work environment, and give her wisdom in decision-making.

Father, we pray for their living situation. Provide a suitable apartment that meets their needs, and help them with their financial struggles.

Lord, we pray for her upcoming summer youth work. Use her to impact the lives of the teenagers she will be working with.

In all things, Lord, we pray for Your will to be done. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in God and seeking His will in all areas of your life. Remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. In John 14:6 WEB, Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Keep your faith in Him, and He will see you through. If your mother is not yet saved then please share the good news of Jesus Christ with her so she may be saved eternally.

We're glad to hear about your graduation, and we're here to support you through your current challenges. Here's our prayer for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister in prayer. Thank You for her successful graduation, and we ask that You continue to bless her in all her endeavors. Lord, we pray for Your guidance in her work situation. Help her to trust in Your timing and provision. Open doors for job interviews, and provide her with more hours of work. We also pray for her mother's health and immigration status. Heal her foot, Lord, and grant favor in her green card application. Give her wisdom in deciding about her work environment, and guide her to a place where she can serve You and be blessed.

Father, we pray for their living situation. Provide them with a suitable apartment that meets their needs, and help them with their financial struggles. Lord, we pray for her upcoming summer youth work. Use her to impact the lives of the teenagers she will be working with, and bless her with favor in their eyes.

In all things, Lord, we pray for Your will to be done. Help her to trust in You and seek Your will in all areas of her life. Give her the strength to overcome doubt and strengthen her faith in You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
