We understand that you have a heavy heart for someone you care about, and we join you in prayer, interceding on behalf of this situation. Firstly, we are grateful that you have included the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, for it is by his name that we have access to God and all things that are good. The Lord tells us to pray for one another to be healed James 5:16. This prayer is an act of faith, trusting God for His divine protection and guidance. The Lord God tells us that he will keep whom the enemy would destroy and hold his people close. "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.” For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." Psalm 91:1-4 We pray for the Lord's protection and guidance for this person. The Lord tells us to pray for his will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. We pray for the Lord's will to be done in this situation and that this person would know the Lord's peace. We also pray that this person will come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior if they do not already know him. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. "Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." If this person has a past of untruth, the Lord tells us to put off our old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4:22-24. We pray that this person would trust the Lord and not lean on their own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6.
We also pray for your safety and peace at home and at your job. We pray that the Lord would keep you from all issues surrounding this person and give you His wisdom and discernment in all your interactions. We pray that you would know the Lord's peace, which surpasses all understanding, and that He would guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Remember that the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1.
