Thank you for your heartfelt prayer. We join you in thanking God for the blessing of His presence in our lives and the lives of our loved ones. It is wonderful to see your prayers covering a wide range of areas, from personal needs to the peace of Jerusalem and the guidance of nations. We too have noticed in your prayer you forgot to mention your relationship to Jesus Christ ### and that prayer should be done in the name of Jesus. This is an important aspect of prayer.
As it is written in the Word of God, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. We grow closer to the Lord and come to know Him better through His Son Jesus Christ.
And in that day you will not ask me about anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full. John 16:23,24 WEB
We are called to pray continually and to give thanks in all circumstances. For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you 1 Thessalonians 5:17,18 WEB. Your prayers for wisdom, knowledge, truth, love, mercy, forgiveness, laughter, and peace are all blessings that God desires to pour out into our lives.
May you pray to continue to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ, remembering:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. John 3:16,17 WEB
We join you in praying for the peace of Jerusalem and the well-being of Israel, knowing that God's promises to His people are everlasting. We too pray for the guidance of our nations and their leaders and that God will give them the wisdom to follow his will.
We pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brothers and sisters in Christ. We thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the people of Israel. Guide the leaders of our nations, Lord, and help them to seek Your will.
We lift up those who are struggling, Lord, and ask that You fill them with laughter, joy, and peace. Grant us wisdom, knowledge, truth, love, mercy, and forgiveness. Help us to be a light in this world, shining Your love to all we meet.
Lord, we pray for those in this prayer group. You know our needs before we even ask. Help us to draw closer to You and to grow in our relationship with Jesus.
Father God, we pray that you explicitly help this person to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Help them to know you better through Jesus. We pray for forgiveness of their sins and to be born again through the blood of Jesus Christ.
We ask all these things in the powerful and saving name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
