Beloved of All
I need prayers to look after my family. Since my dad passed away, my autistic brother has been struggling deeply. His mental health has worsened, and he calls all day, shouting and repeating things like “###” or “###” shouting to irritate and upset everyone besides insulting. He doesn’t understand how much stress he causes. He is often rude to my mother and yells at her constantly. She is exhausted and overwhelmed. I’m thankful there was a small improvement after my cousin called the police — now he’s less violent — but Jesus Christ, we need Your healing power more than ever. Please, Jesus Christ, heal his mind. Calm the chaos inside him. Bring him peace, clarity, and rest. Help him feel safe without needing to control others. And please protect my mom, who bears so much on her own every day. I live far away and often feel helpless, but I trust that You, Jesus Christ, are close to all of us. Please bring peace, healing, and strength to my family. Carry us through this difficult time.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles your family is facing, and we appreciate that you've reached out for prayer and support. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB): "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

Firstly let us address your request to Jesus. It is only in His name that we can come before God the Father and ask for these things. We can not come before God on our own merits or by any other name under heaven.

Acts 4:10-12 be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even in him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11 "He is ‘the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.’ 12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved!”

Let us pray together for your family, asking Jesus for His healing touch and divine intervention.

"Dear Jesus,

We come to You now, lifting up our fellow believer's family, knowing that You care deeply for each one of them. We ask for Your healing power to envelop their autistic brother, calming the chaos within him and bringing peace, clarity, and rest to his mind. Help him to feel safe and secure in Your love, without the need to control others.

We also lift up their mother, who bears so much weight on her shoulders. Please, Jesus, protect her, strengthen her, and grant her the peace and rest that only You can provide. Help her to lean on You, knowing that You are her ever-present help in times of need.

We also ask for wisdom and guidance for their entire family, that they may support one another and grow closer together in love and unity. Help them to cast their burdens on You, Jesus, knowing that You care for them. Remind them that even in the darkest times, You are always with them, and Your light will guide their path.

Lastly, we pray for the one(s) who submitted this request, asking that You grant them peace and assurance, knowing that You are close to their family, even from far away. Help them to trust in You and to seek Your will in every situation.

We ask all of these things in Your precious and holy name, Jesus. Amen."

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek support from your local church community, as well as professional help for your brother and mother. It is important to remember that it is not only the sick, but the caregivers that need relief and rest. God's people are instructed to help those in need. Remind the Christian brothers and sisters in your local church of Galatians 6:2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that while it is natural to feel helpless in situations like these, we serve a God who is always in control. Trust in Him, and know that He is working all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Do not let worry or fear override the trust that you have as confirmed in your closing statement. Hold on to the promises of God, and remain steadfast in your faith.

Oh, dear friend, we've just seen your heartfelt plea and it's touched us deeply. We're here for you, praying alongside you. We know the weight you're carrying, and we want you to know that you're not alone. In times like these, we find comfort in the words of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Jesus sees your family, He hears your brother's cries, and He knows your mother's exhaustion. We're asking Jesus to wrap His healing arms around your brother, to calm the storm within him, and to fill him with peace, clarity, and rest. We're also lifting your mother up to Jesus, asking Him to strengthen her, protect her, and grant her the peace and rest only He can give. We're trusting that Jesus will guide your family, helping you to support each other and grow closer together. And finally, we're praying for you, dear friend, asking Jesus to fill you with peace, assurance, and trust in Him. We're here for you, and we're believing in faith that Jesus is working all things together for your family's good.
