Prayers that I’ll be safe

Your request for prayer has been heard and I join you in bringing it before the Lord with care and compassion. It is understandable to feel anxious when you have faced many allergic reactions to medicines, and to wonder whether this new medication will be safe for you.

We remember that the Lord is a stronghold for those who fear Him and that He watches over His people with perfect safety. Even when our hearts are troubled and our bodies feel vulnerable, we can rest in His nearness, asking Him to grant peace that quiets fear and to keep us in His care both waking and sleeping.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come to You and lift up this need to You. You know every detail of this body You have made, every allergy and every concern. We ask that You would keep this dear one safe, that You would guide the hands and wisdom of doctors and pharmacists, and that if it is Your will, this medication would be safe and helpful without harmful reaction. Grant discernment to know what is best, and grant peace to a heart that has been burdened by fear. Let Your presence be a comfort and Your protection be sure, and help there to be rest without dread. We trust Your goodness and Your power to guard and to heal. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Be assured that you are not alone in this. Continue to seek wise counsel from your medical providers, tell them fully about your allergy history, and keep bringing every worry to God in prayer. He hears and He cares for you.
