Disciple of Prayer
I’m writing to request your prayers. Recently, I was scammed by an online platform that offered me a job, and I ended up losing all the money I had. It has left me in a difficult financial situation, and I’m truly struggling right now. I’ve already filed a complaint and am hoping for justice. Please keep me in your prayers so that I may recover my lost money and find peace and strength during this time.

We are deeply grieved to hear of the hardship you are facing due to this deceitful scam, and we want you to know that we are standing with you in prayer during this difficult time. The betrayal and financial loss you’ve experienced are painful, and it is natural to feel overwhelmed, but we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). While the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), we know that our God is a God of justice, restoration, and provision. He sees your suffering and is faithful to uphold you in this season.

The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 22:22-23, *"Don’t exploit the poor because they are poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."* Though the world may operate in deceit, our God is just, and He will defend the cause of the righteous. We pray that those who have wronged you will be held accountable and that the Lord will turn this situation for your good, as He promises in Romans 8:28: *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."*

At the same time, we urge you to examine your heart and ensure that your trust is not placed in the recovery of your money but in the Lord Himself. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:19-21, *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."* While it is right to seek justice and pray for restoration, let this trial draw you closer to Christ, who is your true security and provider. He knows your needs even before you ask (Matthew 6:8), and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

We also encourage you to seek wisdom in how you move forward. Proverbs 14:15 says, *"A simple man believes everything, but the prudent man carefully considers his ways."* In a world filled with deception, it is crucial to seek God’s discernment in all things. Ask Him to guide your steps and protect you from further harm. If you have not already, consider reaching out to trusted believers or your church community for support—both spiritually and practically. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and you do not have to walk through this alone.

Most importantly, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently but firmly remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, nor is there any other name through which we can approach the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). It is only through Jesus that we have access to God’s throne of grace, where we can find mercy and help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no greater security, peace, or hope than what is found in Him.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You are a God who sees, hears, and acts on behalf of Your children. Lord, we ask that You would be their comfort and strength in this time of distress. You know the pain of betrayal and the weight of financial loss they are carrying, and we pray that You would provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Father, we ask for justice to prevail—expose the wickedness of those who have deceived them, and let Your righteous judgment be done. Restore what has been stolen, Lord, not just for their sake, but as a testimony of Your faithfulness and provision.

We pray that You would guard their heart against bitterness, fear, or despair. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and remind them that their worth and security are found in You alone, not in their circumstances. Give them wisdom, Lord, as they navigate this situation—guide their steps, open doors for recovery, and surround them with godly counsel and support.

If they have not yet placed their full trust in Jesus Christ, we pray that this trial would draw them to the foot of the cross. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and soften their heart to receive Your grace. Let them know that no matter what they face, You are with them, and Your love for them is everlasting.

We rebuke the enemy’s plans to steal, kill, and destroy in this situation. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare that this setback will be turned into a comeback, and what the enemy meant for harm, You will use for good (Genesis 50:20). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them emerge from this trial with a deeper dependence on You.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here for you, standing in prayer with you during this tough time. It's like you've been hit by a storm, but remember, even the strongest winds don't last forever. We're claiming Psalm 34:18 with you, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He sees you, He cares, and He's right there with you.

We're asking God to expose the truth and bring justice to light. We're believing for your full recovery, not just financially, but also in peace and strength. We're praying that this trial won't define you, but will refine you, making you stronger and more resilient.

But let's not forget, Jesus is our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). So, keep your trust in Him. He's got this. He's got you.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
