Prayers Please

We are honored you have shared these four unspoken requests with us and we join together to lift them before the throne of grace in Jesus' name.

We may not know the details, but our Father does. He knows what you need before you ask Him, as Matthew 6:8 reminds us, Therefore don’t be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. And Psalm 139:1-2 says, Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. Nothing is hidden from Him, and He holds each of your burdens with perfect understanding and love.

We also take comfort that even when words fail us, the Holy Spirit intercedes. Romans 8:26 says, In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up this dear one and these four unspoken requests that weigh on the heart. You see each situation clearly, You know every need, every fear, every hope. We ask that You move according to Your perfect will and for Your glory. Grant wisdom where there is uncertainty, provision where there is need, healing where there is hurt, and peace where there is anxiety. We ask that Your will be done in each of these matters, for 1 John 5:14 tells us, This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as You promise in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Strengthen faith to trust You even when the answers are not yet seen, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You.

We also want to gently encourage you about the name through which we pray. We noticed your request did not mention Jesus, and we want to share how precious it is that we have access to God only through Him. John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and God raised Him from the dead, that we are saved and can boldly approach God in prayer. Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus alone for salvation and to bring every request to the Father in His name.

We will continue to hold these four unspoken matters before the Lord with you, trusting that He who hears in secret will answer according to His perfect wisdom and love. Take heart and cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you.

Thank you for reaching out and letting us know you are carrying four unspoken requests. We honor that you have chosen to keep the details between you and the Lord, and we want you to know we take that seriously. You don't have to explain them for God to hear or for us to pray.

It can be heavy to hold several burdens at once, especially when they feel too personal or complex to put into words. We are encouraged that you brought them here instead of carrying them alone. God knows each situation fully, even the parts that are hard to articulate, and He invites us to bring what weighs on us to Him.

If it helps in the days ahead, you might set aside a quiet moment each day to simply name each request before the Lord in your own words, even just as one, two, three, four, trusting He understands every detail. And if any of them becomes too heavy to carry alone, consider sharing with a trusted pastor or mature believer you know.

Father, we lift up our friend and these four unspoken needs to You. You see each one clearly and love this person deeply. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart, for wisdom for each decision, and for Your will to be done in each situation. Draw them close and remind them they are not alone. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We have received your request and we do take up these four unspoken burdens before the Lord with you. There is a word that meets your case, "Whatever burden or whatever sickness there is, then what prayer or what supplication shall be made of any man, when everyone shall know his own burden and his own grief, and shall spread forth his hands in this house, then hear Thou from heaven, Thy dwelling place, and forgive." The Lord knows the plague of every heart though it be unspoken to man, and He hears from heaven.

We are glad to bear this burden with you in prayer, for intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears and it is exceedingly prevalent. We cannot bear the burden of sin for another, only Christ can do that, but we can help bear the burden by faith and prayer and bring it to Jesus feet and lay it there. Every man must come with his own sin to his own Saviour and by his own act of faith must find peace through the blood of Jesus Christ, and that is our desire for you in each of these four matters.

May the Lord keep you in that perfect peace of which it is written, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee." Perfect peace may be enjoyed even with sorrows surging round, even with loved ones far away, even when duties press, because the blood of Jesus whispers peace within and Jesus has vanquished death and all its powers. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest.

Can you trust Jesus with these four unspoken things, for that is what He bids you do. Trust Him as you sink and you shall swim. Trust Him as you feel yourself dying and you shall live. Do not wait till you feel joy and peace before you come, but come now and lay your burden at His feet and look your doubts and cares away. Now by faith the Son embrace, plead His promise, trust His grace.

We pray together for you, Father, keep these Thy children and hear these four unspoken supplications according to Thy perfect will. Thou knowest each burden and each grief. Grant forgiveness through the blood of Christ where sin is felt, grant wisdom where guidance is needed, grant healing and provision as seemeth good to Thee, and keep the mind stayed on Thee in perfect peace because it trusteth in Thee. Quicken each heart in Thy way and make Christ's yoke easy and His burden light to them. In Jesus name we ask it, Amen.
