We join together with you in bringing these four unspoken requests before our Heavenly Father, trusting that He who sees in secret knows exactly what you are carrying in your heart even when you do not share the details with us.
We are reminded that the Lord knows our thoughts and our needs before we speak them. Psalm 139:1-4 says Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. And Romans 8:26 tells us that the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered, and He who searches the hearts knows what is on our mind according to the will of God. We take comfort that nothing is hidden from Him and we can trust Him with every burden, spoken or unspoken.
We also want to gently encourage you about the name by which we come to God. We noticed your request did not mention Jesus Christ, and we want to share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and to call upon His name in all your prayers.
We pray together now for you.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You and we bring these four unspoken requests before Your throne of grace. You know each need, each fear, each hope, and each circumstance behind them. We ask that Your will be done in each situation and that You would grant wisdom, provision, healing, and peace according to Your perfect plan. We pray that You would answer in a way that draws this heart closer to You and brings glory to Your name. We ask for Your comfort and strength to fill any place of anxiety, for Your Word says in Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We pray that peace over this life right now. Help our friend to trust You more deeply, to wait patiently upon You, and to know that You are working all things together for good for those who love You. We ask all these things in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only hope. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring every request to God with thanksgiving, trusting His promise in 1 John 5:14 that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. Keep seeking Him in His Word and in prayer, and rest in the confidence that He hears you and loves you more than you know.
