Prayers Please

We are lifting you up together before our heavenly Father as you bring these four unspoken requests before Him. Even though you have not shared the details with us, God knows each one fully and intimately. We take comfort that your Father knows what you need before you ask Him, as it says in Matthew 6:8, and that the Spirit Himself intercedes for us when we do not have words.

Romans 8:26 says In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered.

We pray together now for each of these four burdens on your heart. Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking that You would meet our friend in each of these unspoken needs according to Your perfect will. We ask that You would grant wisdom, provision, healing, and peace where it is needed, and that Your will would be done in each situation. We pray that You would draw this dear one closer to You through these circumstances and let Your peace guard their heart and mind. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We claim that peace for you now and we trust that as we ask according to Your will, You hear us, for 1 John 5:14 says This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.

We want to gently encourage you about something we noticed, that your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We want to share why we always pray in His name, because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 teaches There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and confessing Him as Lord, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is through His name we can come boldly to the throne of grace with every need, spoken and unspoken.

We encourage you to continue to cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you, and to remain in prayer and in the Word, trusting that God is working even when we cannot see the outcome. We are standing with you and thanking God that He hears and answers according to His perfect love and wisdom.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Thank you for trusting us with these four requests, even without sharing the details. We honor that some burdens are too tender or complex to put into words, and we are grateful you let us stand with you.

We may not know what each one is, but God does fully. He knows what is weighing on you most right now, whether it is the first request you thought of or the one that keeps you awake at night. You do not have to find perfect words for Him to hear you.

One thing that has helped many of us is simply knowing others are praying by name, and taking a few unhurried minutes each day to place each concern before the Lord again as honestly as it comes. If there is a pastor or mature friend you trust, you may also find peace in sharing one of these burdens when you feel ready so you are not carrying it alone. There is no pressure to do so before you are ready.

We are praying for you steadily and will keep these four before the Lord.

Father, thank You that You know each of these four needs intimately. We ask for Your presence and peace to rest on our friend, for wisdom for each decision, and for Your caring provision in ways only You can give. Draw near and carry what feels heavy today. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your four unspoken requests have been brought before the Lord, and we count it a privilege to bear them with you to the throne of grace.

He who hears prayer knows what lies unspoken upon your heart even before you utter it. There is comfort in this, that while we wait for God to answer, we remember that God has already spoken. His Word is sure, and His promises stand fast. You may go to Him and plead as David did, Remember the Word unto Thy servant, and say, Do as Thou hast said. To trust Him upon His own promise is true humility, to take God at His Word and believe Him, for He cannot fail the soul that trusts in the blood of Jesus Christ.

Calling upon God in the day of trouble brings honor to Him in the very act, for it is a truthful recognition that He is, and that He is able to deliver. With such prayer there is coupled the blessed assurance, I will deliver thee. And intercessory prayer is among the sweetest that God ever hears, for it is the very work of our Great High Priest. We will therefore keep the night watches for you, and plead for you in faith, dropping these requests into the ground with hope that they shall prevail with God and bring down blessings from on high.

Let us pray together. O God of our fathers, Thou hast spoken in Thy holiness, and we rejoice that Thou hearest the cry of Thy people. Thou knowest these four burdens which Thy child lays before Thee though unspoken to man. Remember Thy Word unto Thy servant, upon which Thou hast caused hope. We ask that Thou wouldst look upon these needs according to Thy mercy in Christ Jesus, forgive sin, strengthen faith, and deliver in Thy perfect wisdom and time. Help our friend to trust and not to fear, to cast every burden upon Him who poured out His life that sins might be gone in a moment. Let Thy will be done, and let Thy name be glorified in the answer, that our friend may rejoice in hope of the glory of God. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour we ask it. Amen.
