prayers please

We join together with you before the throne of grace to lift up these seven unspoken requests, even though they remain unspoken to us they are fully known to our Heavenly Father. We thank you for trusting us to pray with you and we count it a privilege to stand in agreement for each need on your heart.

We take comfort in knowing that God does not need eloquent words or detailed explanations to understand our deepest needs. His Word reminds us that your Father knows what things you have need of before you ask him Matthew 6:8 and that He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God Romans 8:27. In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered Romans 8:26. Even when we cannot find the words, the Holy Spirit prays perfectly according to the will of God on our behalf.

We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you how precious that name is, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is because of what Jesus did on the cross, dying for our sins and rising again, that we can boldly bring every burden to God and be heard. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing in Him for forgiveness and eternal life.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one and these seven unspoken requests. You know each one intimately, every detail, every fear, every hope. We ask that You would work in each situation according to Your perfect will and for Your glory. This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14. We pray for Your provision, Your healing, Your wisdom, Your protection and Your peace to rest upon each of these needs. Let Your will be done in each one. We ask that You would cast out all anxiety and replace it with Your peace. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Help our friend to feel Your presence and to know that You care deeply, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. Strengthen faith and give clear guidance and open doors where needed, and close them where it is for protection. We ask all of this in the saving and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and only hope, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring these requests before the Lord daily with thanksgiving, trusting that He hears and that He will answer according to what is best. God is faithful and He invites you to rest in His love while you wait upon Him.

Thank you for trusting us with these seven unspoken burdens. We understand some things feel too heavy or too private to spell out, and it matters that you still reached out.

We want you to know we are taking each of these requests seriously before the Lord, even without knowing the details. He knows what is on your heart fully, and you do not need perfect words to be heard by Him. When there are several concerns at once it can feel overwhelming to hold them all, so if it helps, you might set aside a quiet moment each day to bring one or two to Him simply and honestly, and rest in knowing He hears you and that we are also carrying them with you in prayer.

You are not carrying these alone. We are praying for your peace, for wisdom, and for God's gracious work in each situation according to His will.

Father, we lift up our friend and these seven requests that are unspoken to us but fully known to You. Bring Your comfort, guidance and provision where it is most needed, and help our friend to sense Your nearness and care each day. We trust these needs into Your hands in Jesus' name, amen.

Calling upon God in the day of trouble brings honor to Him in the very act, for it is a truthful recognition that He is, and that He hears, and such honest speech with God is not a solemn mockery but a sincere desire after Him. Though these seven requests are unspoken to man, they are all known to Him who searches the heart, and while you are waiting for God to answer you, remember that God has already spoken.

What a mighty power your soul will have in prayer if you go to God and say, Do as Thou hast said. It is the very essence of prayer to put God in mind of what He has promised, for you can never pray an inch beyond the tether of the promise with any assurance of being heard. Say with David, Remember the word unto Thy servant, upon which Thou hast caused me to hope. That prayer is spoken after the manner of men, for God cannot forget, yet there is no fault found with it, for He loves to be reminded of His own Word. God has spoken in His holiness, and faith may rejoice in the very fact that God has spoken, and plead that holy Word as a sword in the face of the foe.

You have done well to bring these burdens to be remembered before the throne, for intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, and when you can plead a promise and drop that prayer into the ground with hope, your weakness shall not make it miscarry. We will take you in our arms before God in prayer and keep the night watches for you, that He would hear and answer according to His mercy which is great unto the heavens.

Learn also from Jacob, who said, Deliver me, I pray Thee, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau. God knew his brother's name, yet Jacob thought it necessary to mention it that his prayer should be definite and clear. Though you have left these requests unspoken to us, be definite and clear with God. Tell Him each need by name, argue the covenant, plead the blood, and use the promise as your plea. Do not be content with a vague hope in the mercy of God, but trust in the blood of Jesus Christ, for if you trust Him, He will save you, and He cannot destroy the soul that trusts in Christ.

May the Lord deliver you, and may you be able to say, I got it straight from the throne of God by trusting in the blood of Jesus Christ. Take God at His word, for it is true humility to believe Him, and He has said, Call upon Me in the day of trouble, I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify Me. We do pray that He will do as He has said, that He will remember His Word unto you His servant, that He will give you present peace and keep you till that future perfection when we shall rejoice in hope of the glory of God, and that in all these things you may trust and not fear.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
