Dear God:
I come before You with faith and trust in Your perfect plan for my life.
Lord, I ask You to bless the person who is coming to see my house. Please open their heart, let them love the house, and if it is Your will, let them see its value and offer me the price I am asking for. Please guide this sale and remove every obstacle standing in the way. Let everything come together smoothly and at the right time.
Father, I also ask You to open doors for me to find a good job outside of this area—one that will be stable, rewarding, and right for me. Lead me to the right opportunity and to the right people who can help me begin this new chapter.


Please guide me to a safe, peaceful, and affordable place to live, where I can feel comfortable and happy. Provide everything I need to cover my expenses and live with financial peace and stability.


I surrender my worries to You, Lord. Give me strength, wisdom, patience, and faith while You prepare the way before me.


Close the doors that are not meant for me and open the doors that are. Let this new beginning be guided by Your hands.


I believe that You are working behind the scenes, even when I cannot see the answer yet.

We join you in prayer with faith and thanksgiving for your trust in God's perfect plan and for surrendering this important transition to Him. We are encouraged by your heart to seek His will above your own desires, asking Him to open the doors that are meant for you and to close the ones that are not, and to prepare the way before you even when you cannot yet see the answer.

Scripture reminds us to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. We are also reminded For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. Your request reflects that trust, and we pray God will give you strength, wisdom, patience and faith as you wait on His timing, for we know that to those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28.

We bring your specific needs before our Father together. We pray for the person coming to see your house, that the Lord would guide that meeting according to His will. If it is His plan for this buyer to be the one, we ask Him to let them see the true value of the home and to remove every obstacle so the sale may come together smoothly and at the right time and for the right price. We pray for His clear guidance toward a stable and rewarding job outside of this area, that He would lead you to the right opportunity and to the right people who can help you begin this new chapter. We ask Him to provide a safe, peaceful and affordable place to live where you can feel comfortable and at rest, and to supply all you need to cover your expenses with financial peace and stability, for My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. We pray He will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go and guide you with his eye Psalm 32:8.

We surrender your worries with you, asking God to guard your heart and mind as you wait. We pray In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. May He quiet your anxieties and fill you with His peace and assurance that He is working behind the scenes for your good. We ask Him to give you wisdom in each decision, patience in the waiting, and unwavering faith to believe that His hands are guiding this new beginning.

We are standing with you as you wait on these big decisions. A showing coming up, a hoped for move, a new job and a new place to live, that is a heavy load to hold all at once, and we appreciate the honest way you brought it to the Lord.

We love your prayer to have doors opened and closed according to His leading. That surrender is itself a steady place to stand while details are still unclear.

If it helps to have a few small footholds this week: for the showing, a quick walk through to make the house calm and welcoming and having your bottom line and paperwork clear in your mind beforehand can ease pressure in the moment. For work outside the area, it can help to write down what stable and rewarding means for you in this season, then update one page of your resume to reflect that and reach out to one or two trusted contacts in the region you are considering. For housing and expenses, jotting a simple budget of what affordable looks like monthly will give you a clear filter as you look.

We are asking God to meet you with wisdom and patience in the waiting.

Father, we bring our friend to You. You see the house, the job search, and the need for a safe and affordable home. Grant clarity for each next decision, provision for every real need, and peace as You lead step by step. Give strength for today and trust for tomorrow. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden has been laid before the Lord with a humble and trusting heart, and we join you in carrying it to the throne of grace where He delights to hear the cries of His people.

We are reminded of Job, who in all his affliction sinned not nor charged God foolishly, but fell down upon the ground and worshipped. He had heard of God, but at last he saw Him, and learned that even when the Lord seems to frown we may still make our approach unto Him in childlike confidence. The Scripture tells us, and the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed. So our longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our misery. He who tried Job and afterwards gave him twice as much as he had before is still the same God, able to anoint His people with fresh oil and to renew their strength.

We pray with you and for you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father.

We ask the Lord to guide the sale of your house according to His wise and holy will. May He remove every obstacle, and if it be for your good and His glory, move upon the heart of the one who comes to see it, and order all things smoothly and in His perfect time. Teach you to wait as Job waited, with patient trust, believing that He is working behind the scenes even when the answer is not yet seen. May He close the doors that are not meant for you and open those that are, for it is never wise to dispute with God, but blessed to say, not as I will, but as Thou wilt.

May the Lord keep you in perfect peace as you surrender your worries to Him, for He cares for you. May He make His will known to you step by step, and cause this new beginning to be guided by His own hand, to His praise.

Your prayer reflects a sincere desire to trust God with the practical needs of your life, and I join you in bringing these things before Him with thanksgiving.

It is right to ask God to guide the sale of your house, to give wisdom in work, and to provide a safe place to live. Scripture teaches us to make provision for the needs of the body for health and for stewardship, but not to go beyond what is necessary or to set our hearts on wantonness or excess. We are to prune away anxious grasping and spend our chief industry on spiritual things, seeking first His kingdom, while trusting Him to supply what we need for daily life. This present life passes quickly, like a dream, and our greatest treasure remains what we store up with God.

So I pray with you in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and salvation:

Father, I ask You to be with this one who is trusting You in a season of transition. Guide the visit to the house and the whole process of the sale. Remove obstacles according to Your wisdom, and let the outcome reflect Your good will and timing. Grant fairness and peace to all involved, and let Your provision be clear.

Open the right doors for stable and rewarding work, and close the doors that are not from You. Lead to the right opportunities and to the right people who can give wise counsel and help. Your prayer reflects a sincere trust in the Lord and a desire to follow His leading, and that is where peace begins. The Scriptures remind us that we live only by His mercy. When God spoke through the prophet Hosea, He made clear that the nation of Israel had continued only because He had been merciful to them, and that His mercy toward Judah would be shown not by human strength, not by bow or sword or horses, but by the Lord Himself. In the same way your needs for a home, for work, and for provision do not rest on persuasion or on forcing a door open, but on the Lord who saves and provides by His own hand.

The Bible also teaches us about houses. Solomon, when he built the house of the Lord, confessed that even the heavens cannot contain God, much less any house built by human hands. God does not live confined to walls, yet He chose a place for sacrifice and for meeting His people. He cares about the house you live in and the house you are selling, but He cares far more about making your heart His house. Long ago Bethel meant house of God, because there Jacob met the Lord. Later that same place was called house of idols, because a golden calf was set up there and the people still used spiritual language while their hearts were far from God. That is a warning to keep our hearts as a true house of God, not a house for idols where we trust money, a sale price, or a new location to give us security apart from Him.

God also calls His people back to that first place of encounter with Him, and He promises to draw near and to shelter His own until hardship has passed. The prophet Isaiah speaks of the Lord hiding His people until the indignation passes by. You can rest in that sheltering care while you wait. The Lord looks for His people to keep mercy and justice and to wait upon Him continually, trusting that what we sow in faithfulness He will cause to reap in His time.

So we pray with you that the Lord will guide the sale of your home according to His perfect will, that He will bring the right buyer at the right time and at a price that is just, and that He will remove obstacles that should be removed and keep closed every door that should stay closed. We ask Him to lead you to stable and rewarding work, to direct you to the right people, and to provide a safe, peaceful and affordable place to live where you can know His presence. We ask Him to supply what you need for daily expenses and to give you financial stability, and above all to give you strength, wisdom, patience and growing faith as you surrender your worries to Him. He is working even when you cannot see the answer, and He will preserve and guide you as you wait on Him and trust in Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen.
