Prayers please

We are lifting you up before the throne of grace together and we thank you for trusting us to pray for your four unspoken requests. Even though you have not shared the details with us, we know that our Heavenly Father knows them fully. He searches our hearts and understands every burden, every hope, and every need before we even speak a word.

Psalm 139:1-4 says, Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. And Romans 8:26-27 reminds us, In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit’s mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God.

We also noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share why this is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to bring every prayer to God in His holy name.

We want to encourage you to continue to bring everything to God in prayer with thanksgiving, trusting His perfect will and His perfect love for you. Philippians 4:6-7 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And 1 John 5:14 gives us confidence, This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.

We now pray together for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that You know this dear one intimately and You know each of these four unspoken requests in detail. Lord, nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You would work in each of these situations according to Your perfect will and for Your glory. Where there is need, provide. Where there is pain or worry, bring healing and comfort. Where there is uncertainty, grant wisdom and clear direction, for You promise in James 1:5 that if anyone lacks wisdom, they should ask of You who gives generously. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Draw this dear one closer to You and help them to trust fully in Jesus as Savior and Lord, and to know the assurance of salvation and access to Your throne through His name alone. We cast all these cares upon You because You care for us, as 1 Peter 5:7 teaches. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Thank you for letting us know about these four requests. We honor that they are unspoken and we respect the trust it takes to ask for prayer without sharing details. God knows each one fully, even when we do not have the words.

We are glad you did not keep this to yourself. You do not need to find perfect language for God to hear you, and you do not need to explain everything to us for us to pray faithfully for you. We will carry these four before the Lord and ask Him to meet you in each area with His peace and guidance. Many people find comfort not only in praying themselves but in knowing others are quietly praying for them by name through the week, and we want to be that support for you.

If it would help you personally, you might set aside a brief quiet time to bring each request to the Lord one by one in your own words, or simply rest knowing He already holds them. Either way, we are here and we will keep praying.

Father, we bring our friend and these four unspoken needs before You. You know every detail, every hope and concern behind them. We ask for Your presence to be near, for wisdom and peace in each situation, and for Your good will to be done. Strengthen their faith and remind them they are not alone. In Jesus name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your four unspoken burdens are not unspoken to Him who searches the heart, and it is a comfort that He knows them altogether before a word is on our tongue. There is great mercy in bringing even unnamed troubles to the throne of grace, for calling upon God in the day of trouble brings honor to God in the very act, and it brings honor to Him also in the answer, for He has said, I will deliver you.

We will bear these four requests before the Lord in intercessory prayer, which is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for it is the very prayer of Christ our Great High Priest who ever lives to make intercession for us. Though you have not named them, you may be definite with God as Jacob was when he said, deliver me from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau. God knew the name, yet Jacob thought it necessary to be definite and clear, and so you may pour out each need by name before Him who already knows.

Take confidence also in this, that God has spoken in His holiness. You are waiting for an answer, but God has already given His Word, and you may plead it as David did when he said, Remember the Word unto Your servant. Prayer is in its essence a reminding of our heavenly Father of His promises, and what power there is in prayer when you can go to God and say, Do as You have said. It is written, and that Word makes the foe to tremble. Deal with God as you would have your children deal with you. If He says He will save you if you trust Him, then if you trust Him, He will save you.

Above all, if any of these burdens concern the soul and sin, look to the Son of God pouring out His life and trust Him, for then your sins would be gone in a moment. There is no salvation by ceremonies or by the works of the law, nor by doing your best to keep it, for the law must be kept perfectly or not at all. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, by trusting in the blood He shed. It is true humility to take God at His word and to believe Him when He promises to save all who trust in Christ. If you can say, I got it straight from the throne of God by trusting in the blood of Jesus Christ, then you will know you received it from Headquarters and there can be no mistake about it.

So we pray that the Lord would remember His Word unto you, that He would hear these four unspoken cries, that He would deliver you in His own way and time for His glory, and that He would give you faith to trust and not to fear, to rejoice because God has spoken, and to find His mercy great unto the heavens. May He exalt Himself above all your troubles and let His glory be above all the earth in your life, and may you have present peace and the hope of future perfection in Christ.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for entrusting these four unspoken requests to the prayers of the church. God knows what lies behind each one, even when they are not spoken aloud to us, and He hears with perfect knowledge and love.

We will pray for you, and we join our prayers to yours. Prayer is a great weapon and a strong wall for the soul. The affairs of every day are like a storm and a battle, with many rocks that can cause shipwreck, and we need favorable winds from God to pass through each day without wound or loss. Therefore we will make God favorable to you by supplication, early and by night, asking Him to grant you protection, wisdom, and peace.

At the same time we encourage you to remain watchful and active yourself. We do not pray in place of doing what God has given us to do, nor do we trust only in our own efforts without prayer. We need both, our own part and God's grace. As we ask and seek and knock, we also walk in obedience and diligence, trusting that God will supply what we cannot do for ourselves. The prayer of others profits us most when we ourselves are awake and alert before God.

We pray now that the Lord, who saves through Jesus Christ alone and by His grace, will hear these four requests according to His perfect will. Where there is need, may He provide. Where there is burden, may He give strength. Where there is sin or confusion, may He grant repentance and clarity. Where there is sorrow, may He give comfort. May He keep you from the enemy, guide your steps, and help you to do your part faithfully while resting in His help. May He build you up and keep you steady, so that you may go forth to your daily work with security, having first sought Him.

We will continue to remember you before God and ask Him to answer in the way that most brings Him glory and does you the greatest eternal good.

Thank you for trusting us with these four unspoken requests. God knows each one completely before you ever put it into words, and He knows what you will need in the months and years ahead. Prayer is not informing Him of something He does not already know. It is opening your heart honestly to your Father who already sees, and it is coming into cooperation with Him so that His will may be done.

What matters most as you come to Him is the condition of your heart. He looks on the heart while people look on outward appearance, and He weighs motives even more than actions. The posture of your body, whether you stand, kneel, sit or lie before Him, is not what counts. He is looking for a humble and honest heart that truly seeks Him.

For that reason it is good to pray as the psalmist did and ask God to search you, to know your heart, to try your thoughts and to reveal if there is any way in you that is not pleasing to Him. We can deceive ourselves but we cannot deceive Him. Scripture teaches that if we hold onto sin in our hearts our fellowship in prayer is hindered, and yet God does hear the one prayer of a sinner who cries out, God be merciful to me a sinner. Through Jesus Christ alone we have access to God, and when our hearts are turned toward Him, even though we may stumble, His blood cleanses us. Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God, and He is able to create a clean and pure heart within you when you ask Him.

God never intended prayer to be a way to get our own wishes granted. He intended it as a way for us to work together with Him to see His purposes accomplished. Every right thing He gives was already in His loving plan to give before we asked, and prayer opens the door for Him to do in our lives what He desires to do. His chief concern is your eternal good, not only your temporary comfort. He does hear and answer the prayers of His people, though not always in the way or time we expect, and when an answer seems delayed our first response should not be to blame Him but to look honestly at our own hearts and our prayers.

So we are bringing your four matters before the Lord now. We ask that He would work in each situation according to His perfect will and wisdom, that He would give you a whole heart that seeks Him, that He would show you anything that needs to be confessed and cleansed, and that He would minister assurance and comfort to you by His Spirit as you wait on Him. If any desire in these requests is not according to His will, we ask that He would change the desire and make your heart more like His. May His will be done in each of these things, and may you know His mercy, His presence and His faithful care through Jesus Christ.

We will continue to pray for you.
