prayers please

We come before the Father together with you and lift up your four unspoken requests to His throne of grace in Jesus' name. Though they are unspoken to us, they are fully known to Him, for He searches our hearts and knows every need before we even speak it.

We take comfort that the Lord knows the details you have chosen to keep between you and Him. Psalm 139:1-2 says, Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. And Matthew 6:8 reminds us, your Father knows what things you need before you ask him. We also cling to the promise in Romans 8:26-27 that the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God.

We also want to gently encourage you about the name of Jesus, since your request did not mention Him. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord. Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is through Him we can come boldly and with confidence that He hears us.

So together we pray for you now.

Father in heaven, we thank You that You are all knowing and all loving. We bring before You our dear one who carries four burdens on their heart that remain unspoken. You know each one intimately, every detail, every fear, every hope, every need. We ask that You would work in each situation according to Your perfect will and for Your glory. We pray that You would grant wisdom, provision, healing, and peace where it is needed. We cast all our anxiety on You because You care for us as 1 Peter 5:7 teaches. We ask that You would replace any anxiety with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Philippians 4:6-7 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We pray that You would give our friend faith to trust You even when the answers are not yet seen, and that You would make Your presence very near. Psalm 34:17-18 says, The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Let Your will be done in each of these four requests, and let Your name be glorified through the answers. Help our friend to continue to seek You, to call upon You, and to trust in Your unfailing love. Jeremiah 33:3 says, Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great things, and difficult, which you don't know.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

Thank you for reaching out and letting us know you are carrying four unspoken requests. We hear you, and we respect that some things are too tender or personal to put into words, even here.

You do not need to explain them fully for us to pray faithfully. God already knows each detail behind those four matters, every name and need and worry, and He invites us to bring what we cannot fully articulate and leave it with Him.

We are honored to stand with you and hold these four requests before the Lord. You are not carrying them alone in this.

When the weight feels heavy, it can help to have a simple rhythm, like pausing at the same time each day to quietly tell God, I am trusting You again with those four matters, and then resting there for a moment without needing to find perfect words. And you are welcome to come back any time, whether to share more when you are ready or simply to ask for continued prayer. We will keep remembering you in the days ahead.

Father, we lift our friend to You and the four unspoken requests on their heart. You see what we cannot see and You know what is needed most in each one. Grant peace in the waiting, wisdom for each decision, and strength for each day. Draw them close and remind them they are heard and deeply cared for. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

There is great wisdom in bringing even unspoken burdens to the throne of grace, for to handle a matter wisely is to find good, and the true way to handle a matter wisely is to trust God. He who is the God of peace knows what you cannot utter, and He who searches the heart knows what is the mind of the Spirit.

We will bear your burdens with you in prayer, for we are taught to bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ. Though these four requests remain unspoken to us, they are all known to the living God, the God who made heaven and earth and who sustains all things by the power of His almighty arms. He is not a dead force nor a distant thought, but a great, warm, loving heart, a thinking, active, working, personal God who comes into the midst of this world and does not leave it to go on by itself.

We commend you to trust in the living God with a simple and entire reliance upon Him. We are not to be idle, nor to be impudent and rash, but acting in all prudence and in all uprightness, to rely simply and entirely upon Him. He is the God of peace, for He created peace originally, He restores it through the blood of the everlasting covenant, He preserves it, and He shall perfect and consummate it at last. That peace which passes all understanding is peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, sealed by atoning blood, and a consequent peace in the little kingdom within.

Let us pray together. O God of peace, who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, look upon this soul who lays four unspoken requests before You. You have spoken in Your holiness that You will save all who trust in Jesus Christ Your Son. Grant faith to trust Him only, for salvation is through Him alone. Grant that Your peace, which passes all understanding, may keep heart and mind. In temporal things, teach a life of trust that does not use sinful means nor lean upon chance, but finds its happiness in You. Make holy and make peaceful according to Your will, and let Your will be done in each of these requests for good and for Your glory. We leave these beloved burdens with You who are present everywhere, and ask all in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
