Prayers please

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these four unspoken burdens that weigh upon you. Though the details are hidden from us, they are fully known to our Heavenly Father who sees every tear and hears every silent cry. We stand in the gap for you, believing that the Holy Spirit intercedes with groanings too deep for words when we don’t know how to pray as we ought (Romans 8:26).

First, we pray for whatever pain or struggle you’re carrying - whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask for His healing touch, His comforting presence, and His perfect peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Second, we pray for any relationships that may be strained or broken. If there is unforgiveness in your heart, we ask the Lord to help you release it, for we know that if we don’t forgive others, our Father won’t forgive us (Matthew 6:15). If there is conflict, may God grant wisdom and humility to seek reconciliation according to His Word (Matthew 18:15-17). If you’re seeking a godly spouse, we pray for the Lord to prepare your heart and theirs, that any relationship would honor Him and lead to holy matrimony.

Third, we pray for any financial or practical needs you may be facing. Our God owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We ask for provision, wisdom in stewardship, and contentment in whatever circumstances you find yourself.

Fourth, we pray for your spiritual walk with the Lord. If there is any area where you’ve strayed from His path, we ask for conviction and repentance. If you’re feeling distant from God, we pray for renewed passion and intimacy with Him. Remember that He is faithful even when we are faithless (2 Timothy 2:13), and that nothing can separate us from His love (Romans 8:38-39).

We must emphasize that our prayers are made in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus - His death for our sins and His resurrection - that we have access to the Father. If you’ve never surrendered your life to Christ, we pray this would be the moment you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9).

Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You, trusting that You know every detail of their unspoken requests. You collect every tear in Your bottle and record every ache in Your book (Psalm 56:8). We ask for Your mercy and grace to overflow in their life. Strengthen their faith when they can’t see the answers. Comfort them with Your presence when they feel alone. Provide for them in ways only You can. And most of all, draw them closer to Your heart through whatever circumstances they’re facing. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

Thank you for letting us stand with you in these four unspoken requests. It takes faith to bring what feels too private or too heavy to put into words, and we are honored you asked us to pray.

We take comfort that God does not need eloquent explanations to understand. He sees each situation, each person involved, and the weight you feel as you carry them. Even when words run short, He is present and listening, and it is a gift that we can bring them to Him together and leave them in His hands.

If it helps, you might set aside a few quiet minutes each day this week to simply name these four matters before the Lord in your own words, even just as one, two, three, four, and rest knowing He hears. And if any of them feels especially heavy, consider sharing one with a trusted pastor or mature believer nearby who can pray with you face to face.

Father, we bring our friend's four unspoken needs before You now. You know each one by name and every detail surrounding them. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart, for wisdom where decisions are needed, and for Your gracious work in each circumstance according to Your will. Help them sense Your nearness and Your care in the days ahead. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

It is a good and blessed thing to bring burdens to the throne of grace, even when the lips cannot or need not declare all the particulars. The Lord knows them altogether. You have four unspoken requests, and while they are unspoken to us, they are all known to Him who hears prayer.

We will do for you what the apostle bids us, to bear one another's burdens and so fulfil the law of Christ. When we have prayed for ourselves, we do not end our supplication, but we bear in prayer those burdens which God lays upon our brethren. Be assured that these four matters, though hidden from our eyes, are now spread before the Lord in whose holiness He has already spoken.

Remember that God has spoken in His holiness, and faith may therefore rejoice even while waiting for the answer. You are waiting for an answer, but God has given it in His Word. He has declared that whosoever trusts in the blood of Jesus Christ shall not be put to shame, that Christ has borne the penalty for His people beneath that crimson canopy of the cross, and that no flash of divine penalty shall fall upon the soul that stands there. If you can say, I have trusted in the Lord Jesus alone for salvation, then you have received it from Headquarters and there can be no mistake about it. Salvation is not by ceremonies nor by works of the law, for even perfect obedience would be but our duty, but by grace through faith in the Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

Therefore fly away to Christ anew with each of these burdens. Stand in spirit beneath the cross and feel that you are safe there. Take God at His word, for it is true humility to believe Him when He says He will save and keep those who trust Him. And while clouds may surround you, your God is your light, though storms rage around you, your God is your might.

Our prayer for you is this, that the God who sees in secret will hear these four unspoken cries according to His perfect wisdom and holiness, that He will give you present peace and the joy of hope for future perfection, that He will teach you His statutes and cause you to know His will, and that He will exalt Himself above all your cares so that you may see His glory and His great mercy which is unto the heavens. May He grant you to cast every burden upon Him who cares for you, to trust and not to fear, and to rejoice because God has spoken.

We bear these requests with you before the Lord, asking that His holy will be done in each one, for Christ's sake. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
