We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious sister in Christ who is facing such a difficult trial with her health. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our heads. You see her struggle, Lord, and You know the desires of her heart for improved kidney function. We ask, in the mighty name of Jesus, that You would move in a powerful way to strengthen her body and restore what has been lost.

We pray that You would touch her kidneys and bring healing to every cell, every function, and every number that measures her health. Lord, we ask that You would raise those numbers just a little more, enough to bring her comfort, strength, and hope. You are the God who does exceeding abundantly above all we can ask or think, and we trust You to work in ways that only You can. We declare that her body is fearfully and wonderfully made, and we speak life and restoration over it in Jesus’ name.

Father, we also lift up her spirit. Trials like these can weigh heavily on the heart, but we know that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and remind her daily of Your unfailing love. Let her feel Your presence in a tangible way, Lord, so that she knows she is never alone.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and discouragement that may try to creep into her mind. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus, and we stand on Your promise that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her see Your hand at work in her life.

We also want to encourage her to continue seeking wise medical counsel and to trust that You can work through doctors and treatments. Give her patience and perseverance as she walks this journey, and surround her with a community of believers who will uplift her in prayer and support.

Lord, we thank You for the testimony of healing and restoration that we believe You are going to write in her life. We trust You to turn this situation around for Your glory, and we ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

To our sister reading this, we want you to know that you are deeply loved, not just by us, but by the Creator of the universe. He sees your pain, your struggles, and your heart, and He is with you every step of the way. Hold onto His promises, and don’t lose hope. We are standing with you in faith, believing that God is able to do immeasurably more than we can imagine. Keep pressing into Him, and trust that He is working even when you can’t see it. You are not forgotten, and your story is not over. God has great things in store for you!

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join our hearts with yours in this request, and we can hear how deeply you care for this woman. It is a gift to love someone so fiercely, and it hurts to watch her body struggle. When the numbers seem stubborn and the waiting is long, it is easy to carry a heavy ache inside. We are grateful you have let us carry a small piece of that with you.

There is no need to face this alone. While you ask God to act, please also let Him hold you. Sometimes the most faithful thing we can do is quietly breathe and let His peace settle our own hearts, so we can keep showing up with steady love.

Father, we lift this dear woman into Your hands. You know every cell in her body and the exact state of her kidneys. We ask boldly, yet humbly, that You would restore her function, even by a few precious points, as a tangible sign of Your mercy. Please give her strength for each day and fill her with a sense of Your nearness. Grant wisdom and compassion to every doctor, nurse, and technician involved in her care. And wrap her family, including this faithful prayer partner, in Your comfort and unshakable peace. May they rest in the truth that she is never, ever beyond Your reach. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

What a heavy burden you carry, as you watch one so dear to you suffer under this affliction of the kidneys. I shall most certainly lift her up before the throne of grace, and I beseech you to join me in earnest, agonizing prayer for her. We are far too ready to tell our neighbors of our troubles, when we ought first to tell the Lord, who alone can help.

You fix your hope upon a few digits, that they might creep upward from the present low estate, and this is natural, for we are flesh; yet faith must reach beyond the numbers to the God who ordained them. Fear has moved you to this request, even as Noah was moved with fear in building the ark. That fear is not sinful, for it drives you to prayer, but let faith be the living principle at the back of it. Ask boldly for those numbers to rise, for with God all things are possible. Yet even more, plead that her soul may prosper, that she may know the healing Word of Christ, which makes the sin-sick whole.

You say she does not deserve this, and truly, no child of sorrow ever merits their pain. But remember, our Lord Jesus, the One who deserved no suffering, bore our griefs and carried our sorrows. It is not a question of desert but of divine purpose, and even this sickness may be a means by which the Good Physician draws her nearer to Himself. The very pain which we would flee from often becomes the goad that drives us to the Shepherd’s bosom.

Perhaps your faith is but a struggling faith, a mixture of fear and trust. Struggle on, then, and faint not! Cling to the promise, though your prayers seem but feeble groans. The God who wounded can also heal. He puts strength into us when we have none of our own. Pour out your heart before Him, and leave the numbers in His nail-pierced hands. May the God of peace be with you both, and may the hearing of faith bring quietness to your anxious heart, for Jesus’ sake. Amen.

You ask prayers for this woman, and it is good to flee to the mercy of God, for prayer is a mighty weapon. Yet consider what the divine Scriptures teach us: the prayer of the Church availed for Peter when he was in prison, but Peter himself was also vigilant and ready to suffer for Christ. If the sick woman sleeps in her soul, if she does not herself cry out to the Lord with the blind men of Jericho, "Have mercy on us," then my prayers and yours, though multiplied, profit little. We must not place ourselves where we need not the help of others, but all of us, even the holiest, need the prayers of the saints, and more still we need our own hearts awake.

Do not say, "What need have I of prayer?" Neither Paul nor Peter said such a thing. Therefore, let her lift up her own voice to the Physician of souls and bodies. Let her not merely desire a certain number or a certain percentage of function, but surrender herself wholly to His will, trusting that He who formed the kidneys knows what is best for her salvation. The Lord Jesus, when He stood before the tomb of Lazarus, gave thanks to the Father, not because He lacked power, but to show that His will is one with the Father's.

He did not pray as a servant begging from a master, but as the beloved Son showing that all He does springs from that eternal love. We, however, are beggars, and our prayer must be the cry of the publican: "God, be merciful to me a sinner." You say she does not deserve this affliction, but who among us deserves anything but chastisement? All have sinned and fall short. The wonder is not that some suffer, but that any are spared.

Yet God's mercy is great, and He often delays judgment to lead us to repentance. So I will pray with you, but let us pray not for a mere number, as if commanding the Almighty, but that His mercy may restore her according to His wisdom, and that through this trial her soul may be drawn nearer to the eternal life that alone is secure. Go, then, to your prayer early in the morning, and bring her also, if she is able, to the spiritual warfare. For every day is a tempest, and we need the favorable winds of supplication lest we sink.

And remember: the crowds who followed Jesus cried out, "Son of David, have mercy," and their very loudness showed their earnestness. Let your prayer be loud in faith, not in noise, and trust the Lord to hear, not because we name a number, but because He is good and loves mankind.

You carry a heavy weight right now, and I can hear the love and the ache in your words. It is so painful to watch someone you care about suffer and to feel so powerless. The desire to see those ### climb, to have a tangible sign of improvement, is a cry that God hears clearly.

When we face a crisis like this, our prayers often begin with that urgent need, and rightly so. But let me encourage us to root our prayers in something even deeper. True, effective prayer always begins with a relationship. The ear of the Father is open to the cry of His children. So, the most vital ground for this request isn't the current ###, but the assurance that this dear woman can call God her Father, and you can too. If that relationship is secure through faith in Jesus Christ, then you both have a free and open access to the throne of grace. You are no further from God’s ear than anyone else.

That relationship changes how we pray for the ###. We often think of prayer as us persuading a reluctant God, but the opposite is true. God is the one who lays His will on our hearts, giving us the very inspiration to pray. He is looking for reasons to act in mercy, much like He stirred Moses to intercede so He could pardon rather than judge. So, your prayer for her ### isn't just a desperate plea; it can be a partnership with a merciful God who loves her more than you do. He sent His Son to die for her sins, and He is actively working to conform her life into the image of Christ. That is His ultimate purpose, the direct and best will for her life.

Sometimes we settle for a second best, pushing so hard for our specific outcome that we miss the deeper work God is doing. The direct will of God for her is to draw her close to Himself and accomplish His good purpose. We can boldly ask Him to heal her ###, asking that her ### might improve to a specific number. But we must hold that request with open hands, trusting that if the ### don't climb as we hope, it is not because God has forgotten her. He might be granting a permissive will, allowing a difficult thing, because He is preparing her, and you, for something only He can see ahead. He not only prepares the place for us, but He prepares us for the place. By the time you get there, you’ll find He has already made ready what you need.

In this waiting, you have a choice. The temptation will be to grumble against the Lord and long for a past that seemed better, like the Israelites in the wilderness. But the other path is to look for what you can genuinely give thanks for, even now. It could be the life she has, the love you share, the few precious ### that did go up before. Instead of an offering of jealousy or a memorial of iniquity, bring a freewill offering of thanks for who God is, right in the middle of this storm.

We will join you in praying for her ### to improve. We will pray that God, in His mercy, would restore her ###. But more than that, we will pray that God’s perfect, direct will be done in her life, and that she would know the peace that comes from being right in the center of it, trusting Him for survival day by day. That is where the healthiest years of the soul are found. We are consciously depending on Him for everything, and if it were not for the Lord, we would all be consumed. May you both find a resting place for your souls as the presence of the Lord goes before you.
