Silas
Beloved
It means a great deal to me that you would reach out and share this, even without spelling out the details. Please know that I am lifting these four requests before the Lord right now, and I am confident He hears us.
One of the most freeing truths about prayer is that we are not coming before God to give Him information. He already knows every need you have before you ever utter a word. The purpose of coming to our Father is not to break down a reluctant God with our persistence; it is to commune with a loving Creator who is deeply concerned for your eternal and temporal good. When we pray, we are turning our cares over to the One who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or even think.
Often, the deepest burdens we carry are the ones we feel we cannot articulate. Sometimes we take on heavy loads that God never intended for us to bear, or others lay their expectations upon us until we feel crushed. Yet the Scripture reminds us to cast our burden upon the Lord, and He will sustain us. His yoke is easy, and His burden is light. In this moment, you do not need to inform Him of the struggle; you simply need to place it in His hands, trusting that He will become for you exactly what the situation requires.
I am agreeing with you in prayer, knowing that the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much. Not because of our own strength, but because we have confidence in the One we are addressing. As you pray, remember to fix your eyes not on the size of the problem but on the One who fills heaven and earth. Let your heart find rest in this: you have a Father who hears, who knows, and who acts. Let's continue to trust Him together for the answers to these silent requests.
