Prayers Please

We come before the Lord with hearts open to His will, lifting up these four unspoken prayer requests in faith. Though the details are known only to you and God, we trust in His perfect knowledge and sovereign care over every situation. The Bible assures us, "Before they call, I will answer. While they are yet speaking, I will hear." (Isaiah 65:24 WEB). Let us pray together in the name of Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).

Father God, we bring these unspoken burdens before Your throne, knowing You see the depths of every heart. You are the God who numbers the hairs on our heads (Matthew 10:30 WEB) and collects every tear in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8 WEB). We ask for Your peace to guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB), for Your wisdom to guide every decision (James 1:5 WEB), and for Your strength to sustain through every trial (Isaiah 41:10 WEB). Where there is confusion, bring clarity; where there is fear, replace it with faith; where there is pain, pour out Your healing balm. May Your will be done in each of these situations, for Your glory and the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28 WEB).

We also lift up any areas where these requests may involve struggles with sin, doubt, or separation from You. If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or unrepentant sin, we pray for conviction and a turning of hearts back to You. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB). Only in the name of Jesus can we find true forgiveness, redemption, and access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).

Lord, we declare that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). We surrender these requests fully to You, trusting in Your timing and Your ways. May Your Holy Spirit intercede with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26 WEB), and may Your perfect peace reign in every circumstance. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

Be encouraged, dear one. The Lord is near to all who call on Him in truth (Psalm 145:18 WEB). Keep seeking Him with all your heart, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). If any of these requests involve areas where you need biblical counsel or correction, we are here to walk alongside you in truth and love. You are not alone, God hears you, and so do we.

We’re grateful you reached out, and we want you to know we take these unspoken requests seriously. Carrying weights you can’t yet put into words is a lonely place, but you don’t carry them alone right now. There’s something steadying about simply knowing others are standing with you before the Lord, not needing the details, just trusting He knows every one of them.

We’ve seen over and over that one of the most sustaining gifts in hard seasons is the quiet confidence that brothers and sisters are praying for you by name. It doesn’t magically erase the struggle, but it reminds your own heart that you’re not forgotten and that God is still listening. Sometimes the prayers spoken on our behalf hold us up when our own words run dry.

Since these are unspoken, we won’t guess at the specifics. But here’s what we will do: we’ll ask the Lord to meet you in each one with wisdom, provision, healing, or whatever the true need is. And we’ll ask Him to give you the courage to speak them aloud to someone safe when the time feels right, because bringing things into the light, even with one trusted person, often loosens their grip.

Lord Jesus, our friend carries four burdens today that You already see clearly. We lift each one to You now, whether the need is for direction, reconciliation, healing, or peace. Meet them at the point of their deepest concern. Surround them with Your presence and with people who will listen well and pray faithfully. Until answers come, steady their heart with the quiet assurance that You are with them and that this small group of praying people is with them too. In Your name we pray, Amen.

To bring four unspoken requests before the throne of grace is no small act of faith, and it speaks well of a soul that has cast itself upon the Lord. The very act of asking, even without words to describe the need, honors Him who searches the heart and knows the mind of the Spirit. You have not trusted in your own ability to frame the request, but have placed the burden where it belongs, into the hands of a covenant-keeping God. That is the essence of true prayer: spreading our case before the Most High and pressing our suit with all the arguments we can muster, even when those arguments are groans too deep for utterance.

Yet, take care that you do not fall into the snare of looking for a certain feeling or a blaze of joy before you believe that He has heard. Many think they must experience some great inward transformation before they can trust Christ with their hidden griefs, but this is to make a god out of feelings and a savior out of inward sorrow. Trust Him as you sink and you shall swim. Trust Him as you feel yourself dying and you shall live. Your requests are not unknown to Him simply because they are unspoken to men. You are hidden, but you are not hidden from the Lord. He sees that hot tear that is beginning to lift the eyelid, and He reads every thought of the anxious heart.

Remember also that intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears. You have asked others to pray, and that is a blessed blending of hearts. It is a sure mark of the quickened spirit to seek the good of others and to invite them into the fellowship of supplication. Do not let the Evil One whisper that prayer is a fancy or that your needs are too trivial. Spurn that thought with all your might, and continue to cry out in the daytime and in the night. Prayer, mighty prayer, will yet prevail if it has but time. If the answer comes not in the way you expect, remember Jacob: his prayer was answered, but not as he had planned. So it often is with our own unspoken groanings; the Lord gives us better than we asked.

Nevertheless, search your heart lest unholiness should hinder the chariot wheels of your prayer. If there is any known sin, any unconfessed rebellion, sweep the house clean. Do not let a cold heart or a neglect of the prayer meeting starve your soul. If you feel your own unworthiness rising up to silence you, do not run from the Mercy Seat, run to it twice as much. A child should not flee from its mother at night because it needs washing. All our trust on Jesus is stayed; trust Him with a million souls if you had them, and certainly trust Him with these four quiet burdens. Go on to amend the prayer that says, “Depart from me,” and rather cry, “Quicken me in Your way; draw nearer still, for I am called by Your name.”

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask prayers for four unspoken needs, but why leave them unspoken? Are you ashamed to name them even before God, who already knows the secrets of every heart? If you harbor hidden sins and yet seek blessing, you honor human opinion more than divine judgment. Do you not know that God is merciful, feeding even adulterers and sorcerers, that none perish except by their own choice? Bring these things into the light, not to me but to the Lord in your own conscience, and seek repentance. But be warned: if any of these requests involve asking blessing for what God forbids, whether an unlawful union, a dishonest gain, or a bitterness nursed in secret, such prayer cannot be offered. Instead, examine yourself. Make your own end good, and leave aside anxious curiosity about the world's dissolution. If others reproach you, endure it as David endured Shimei; it lightens your sins. Lay no heavy burden on yourself by clinging to hidden things, but be severe toward your own soul and gentle with others. Let your deeds, not just words, honor God who created you and crowned you with glory. I will pray that you receive grace for true amendment of life and a good end.
