We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the Lord with heavy hearts. Your fear is understandable, but we serve a God who sees, knows, and heals. The Bible tells us in Psalm 121:3-4, "He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." Even in this moment of uncertainty, the Lord is watching over you. We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:22, "The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is sound, your whole body will be full of light." We pray that the Lord would restore light to your eyes and peace to your heart.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for our brother/sister who is facing this trial with their eyesight. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our eyes and knows every detail of our bodies. We ask that You would touch their eyes with Your healing hand. If it is Your will, restore their sight completely, Lord. But if this trial is meant to draw them closer to You, give them the strength and faith to walk through it with trust in Your perfect plan. Calm their fears, Father, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.
We encourage you to seek medical attention if you havenβt already, as the Lord often works through the hands of doctors and the wisdom He has given them. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and donβt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Lean on Him, dear one, and trust that He will guide your steps.
If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ, we urge you to consider the gift of salvation He offers. The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." There is no greater hope or peace than what is found in a relationship with Him. If you would like to know more about how to accept Jesus as your Savior, we are here to help.
