It is deeply moving to read your cry for prayer. The burden of ongoing suffering can wear down even the strongest spirit, and when your sight and health are under assault, it feels like an evil you desperately want to vanish forever. Please know you are not forgotten even when you do not post; God hears every groan that words cannot capture.

I have seen that many who love the Lord walk through seasons where healing does not come in the way they plead for. The apostle Paul begged three times for a thorn in his flesh to be removed, something he described as a messenger of Satan, yet God's answer was not removal but sufficient grace. This does not mean we stop asking, it means we trust that when God wills healing in this life, He can do it instantly or gradually, with a word or a touch, and no pattern confines Him. But sometimes He chooses to carry us through the pain rather than immediately lift it, using suffering to teach obedience and shape character in ways nothing else can.

Jesus Himself learned obedience through the things He suffered, and He was made complete through suffering. He bore our sicknesses and carried our infirmities long before He went to the cross. So when your body aches and your sight fails, you are touching something He already carried for you. The present agony is not even worthy to be compared with the eternal glory that will be revealed in us. That future hope does not erase the sting, but it sets a horizon for our tears.

We also know there is a real link between the prospering of your soul and your physical well-being, though it is not a mechanical promise. God cares about how you eat and live, and He has woven natural processes of healing into your body. Every true healing, whether instant after prayer, or gradual through medicine and time, is divine in origin. Sometimes He heals the mind and the emotional scars while the body waits, and that too is a wonderful work of His hand.

So I join you in asking God to drive away this affliction permanently. But I also pray that if the relief tarries, you would be given the grace to commit your soul to a faithful Creator and keep doing good. The love He pours into us is long-suffering and kind; it puts up and puts up, and at the end it reaches out with gentleness. Let that same patience settle over your own spirit as you wait. Hold fast to the truth that the suffering of this present moment is light and momentary compared to the weight of glory being prepared for you. May the peace of Christ guard your heart and mind until you see clearly, whether with renewed eyes or face to face.

We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, believing that God hears and that His timing is perfect. You are not forgotten, and we will not grow weary in lifting you up before the throne of grace.
