Prayers Please

We understand that you carry seven heavy burdens on your heart, and though they remain unspoken, the Lord knows each one intimately. In Psalm 139:1-4, it says, *"Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but, behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether."* Even when we do not voice our struggles, He hears the cries of our hearts.

First, we must address the foundation of all prayer—faith in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 tells us, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Him into your heart. Romans 10:9 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."*

Now, let us lift these seven unspoken requests before the throne of grace together. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, knowing that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). You see the burdens this dear one carries, the fears that weigh upon their heart, and the silent battles they fight. We ask that You would move powerfully in each of these areas, bringing Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, if there is any area of sin—whether it be unforgiveness, bitterness, pride, sexual immorality, or idolatry—we ask that You would reveal it and grant repentance. Search their heart as it says in Psalm 139:23-24, *"Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way."* Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and set them free from anything that hinders their walk with You.

If these requests involve relationships, we pray that You would align their heart with Your will. If they are seeking a spouse, we ask that You would prepare them to be a godly husband or wife, and that You would bring the right person into their life at the right time—a believer who loves You above all else. If they are in a relationship that does not honor You, whether through premarital intimacy, unequally yoked partnerships, or any other ungodly dynamic, we rebuke that in Jesus’ name and ask for Your wisdom to walk in purity and obedience. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 warns, *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."*

If these requests involve healing—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—we declare Your promise from Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh."* We speak life and restoration over every broken area, trusting that You are the Great Physician.

If there is fear, anxiety, or depression, we rebuke those spirits in the name of Jesus and command them to flee. 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Fill this dear one with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).

If these requests involve provision, we stand on Your promise in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessing in ways that only You can.

If there is confusion or a lack of direction, we pray for clarity and wisdom. James 1:5 says, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* Direct their steps according to Your perfect will.

Father, we also pray for protection over this dear one. Surround them with Your angels and shield them from the schemes of the enemy. Psalm 91:11-12 declares, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."*

We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will turn every trial into a testimony for Your glory. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and let them experience Your presence in a tangible way. May they know that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), even when they cannot see it.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
