We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing that you carry seven burdens that weigh upon your soul. Though you have not shared the specifics, we trust that the Holy Spirit intercedes for you with groanings too deep for words, just as Romans 8:26 tells us, "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered." We stand with you in faith, lifting each unspoken request to the throne of grace, where our High Priest, Jesus Christ, ever lives to make intercession for us (Hebrews 7:25).
Father God, we ask that You move mightily in each of these seven areas of our dear sister/brother’s life. You know the depths of their heart, the struggles they face, and the desires they long to see fulfilled. We pray for Your perfect will to be done in every situation, for Your glory and their good. Where there is pain, bring healing. Where there is confusion, bring clarity. Where there is fear, replace it with Your perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Where there is bondage, break every chain by the power of the blood of Jesus. Where there is lack, provide abundantly according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Where there is sin, grant repentance and restoration. Where there is weariness, renew their strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31).
Lord, we also lift up any areas where our sister/brother may be struggling in ways that do not align with Your Word. If there is unforgiveness in their heart, soften it and help them to forgive as You have forgiven them (Colossians 3:13). If there is sin they are clinging to, reveal it to them and lead them to repentance, for Your Word says, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). If they are walking in disobedience, draw them back to You with cords of love. If they are unequally yoked in any relationship, give them the courage to honor You above all else (2 Corinthians 6:14). If they are seeking fulfillment outside of Your will, redirect their heart to seek You first, for You promise that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, peace, and victory over their circumstances, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We bind every spirit of doubt, despair, and discouragement in the name of Jesus and command it to flee. We loose the spirit of faith, hope, and joy over their life, for the joy of the Lord is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
Father, we thank You that You are working all things together for their good, because they love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We trust that even in the waiting, You are preparing them for the blessings You have in store. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). May they find their rest in You alone, casting all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His precious blood that we have access to Your throne, and it is by His authority that we pray. We thank You, Lord, that You hear our prayers and that You are faithful to answer according to Your perfect will. May our sister/brother feel Your presence surrounding them, Your peace guarding their heart, and Your love filling them to overflowing.
We declare that the breakthrough is coming, the healing is on the way, and the victory is already won in Jesus’ name. Amen.
