We are truly sorry to hear about the painful experiences you've endured at your former workplace. We are here to support you in prayer and to provide biblical guidance. We are reminded in scripture:
Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
Galatians 5:19-21 WEB.
It is clear that the actions of those who harmed you were not of God. Remember that Jesus told us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. This is not easy, but with God's help, it is possible.
But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,
Matthew 5:44 WEB.
Forgiveness is not about saying that what they did was acceptable—it is about releasing the burden of bitterness and anger from your own heart.
For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Matthew 6:14-15 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear friend who has been deeply hurt. Lord, You know the pain and the emotional turmoil they have experienced. We ask for Your healing touch on their heart and mind. Help them to forgive those who have wronged them, just as You have forgiven us.
Guide them to a new job, a place where they can use their talents and be treated with respect and kindness. Open the doors of opportunity and give them the strength and courage to walk through them.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Regarding forgiveness consider:
Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB.
We encourage you to keep applying for jobs and trust that God has a better plan for you.
Remember:
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6
In all situations, it is crucial to lean on God's understanding and not our own. Seek Him in prayer and in His word, and He will direct your paths.
Finally, we wanted to remind you to continue to come to God in Jesus name.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
John 14:6 WEB.
And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
Acts 4:12 WEB.
