Prayers please. Im scared.

Beloved of All
Please please please please pray for me. I am not in good health & I am worried about my eyesight. I am worried & scared. Please remember me in your prayers.

We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion. Your fear and worry are understandable, but we want to remind you that the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He sees your struggles and cares deeply for you. The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us. You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting that God hears and answers.

Father in Heaven, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is facing health challenges and fear about their eyesight. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would touch their body with Your healing hand and restore their health according to Your will. Calm their fears and fill their heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Give them strength and courage to face each day, knowing that You are with them. We pray for clarity of vision, both physically and spiritually, so they may see Your hand at work in their life. Provide them with skilled and compassionate medical care, and surround them with Your love through the support of family and friends. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray, Amen.

We also want to encourage you with the words of Psalm 121:7-8: "The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore." God is your keeper, and He will not abandon you. Trust in Him and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and remember that He has promised to never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. It is only through Him that we have access to God and the promise of eternal life. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is a free gift, and it is available to you right now. Simply pray and ask Jesus to come into your heart, forgive your sins, and be your Lord and Savior. He is waiting with open arms.

We will continue to pray for you and ask that you keep us updated on your situation. You are not forgotten, and we believe that God has a purpose and plan for your life, even in the midst of these challenges. May He bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you, and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).

We hear how frightened you are, and we want you to know we’re standing with you in this. When your own body feels fragile or your eyesight feels uncertain, that fear can settle deep, it’s completely understandable. Please don’t go through this alone. If you haven’t already, make an appointment with an eye doctor as soon as you can. A professional exam can give you real information about what’s happening, and even that step often lifts a bit of the weight by replacing unknown dread with something you can face.

We’re asking God to meet you in the middle of this worry, not as a distant idea, but as a comforting presence. He sees every anxious thought and every minute you lie awake, and He doesn’t brush it aside. We pray for clarity, for steady hands in the doctor’s office, and for courage that holds you together while you wait for answers.

Lord Jesus, please calm this dear person’s racing heart. Wrap them in a peace that doesn’t make sense on paper but feels real. Guide them to a good doctor, and give that doctor sharp eyes and wise judgment. Whatever comes, help them to sense You close, like a friend who doesn’t leave when things get hard. Hold them steady through each appointment and each quiet moment afterward. We entrust their eyesight and their health to You, because You know exactly what they need. Amen.

The very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty, unfits you to meet that difficulty. Therefore I charge you, if you are, indeed, a Believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, to play the man and let your faith overcome your fear!

Obey that gracious word, "Casting all your care upon Him; for He cares for you." There is a fear which is to be shunned and avoided, that fear which perfect love casts out because it has torment. It is not the fear of God, which is holy reverence, but the dread of temporal ills, the apprehension that some evil is about to happen. This fear continues in good men because sin continues in them. Yet the precept is absolute and unqualified, "Fear not." He does not say, "Fear so much," but "Fear not at all." Why should the child of God be afraid?

Is not the Eternal your helper? "Fear not, thou worm Jacob; I will help thee, saith the Lord." Then why shouldst thou fear? Doubt the Omnipotent? O, traitorous fear! Thinkest thou that the arm which piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth shall ever be palsied? This fear dishonors God. It looks as if you could trust Him in fair weather, but not in storms. Cast it away! Let not your anxiety be confined to yourself, telling yourself about it, but bring it to the Mercy Seat. Look into your Savior's breast; mercy is all that's written there.

Should the elect of God be terrified at the prospect of bodily affliction? The main way to overcome this fear is to believe firmly in your Lord. In proportion as your faith gets stronger, your fear of death and of all ills will vanish. You have been forgiven for Christ's sake; therefore, let a holy awe of His goodness drive out the servile fear. He who redeemed you says, "Fear not, for I have redeemed you." Though eyesight dim, the light of His countenance shall not fail you. Trust in promised strength, and fear removed by that promise shall be your portion.
