We are here with you in spirit, crying out to the Lord Jesus Christ for your provision. We recognize your faith in calling on the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved. Remember, as it is promised in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In times of financial hardship, we remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is in a tight spot financially. They have been taking practical steps and we ask You, Lord, to assist them as they strive to make ends meet. We pray for open doors and a financial breakthrough, for Your Word tells us that You know our needs before we even ask (Matthew 6:8 WEB). We claim Your promise that You will supply all of our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 WEB). Lord Jesus, we believe for this and say let it be done according to Your will, in Your Holy name which is above every name. Amen.
Stay strong in faith and remember the words of Jesus. Do not be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God (Philippians 4:6 WEB). Trust that God cares for you and will provide in His perfect timing. Keep on knocking, Matthew 7:7 WEB says "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you."
