Disciple of Prayer
I need some prayers over myself. I've really been struggling lately. I feel like I'm failing and the enemy really wants nothing more than to steal, kill, and destroy any plans that the Lord has for me. I've been struggling to pray, struggling to read my Bible, talk to God. The enemy has been distracting me. I've been struggling with cussing, frustration, rage, stress. And it hurts me when I feel like this. Because it hurts God. I know Jesus doesn't expect me to have it all together and perfect, but Lord, I need the Holy Spirit to intervene and help me. I want to be on fire for Jesus, I want to be a good example of a Christian and point others towards Jesus. I'm just a struggling momma who just needs Jesus now more than ever. I'm a stay-at-home mom who doesn't have a big community or support system. So I get stressed very easily being at home. Feeling like I have to do it all and have it all together. My husband works a lot, and he can't be home to help me all the time. And that adds to my stress. I also pray that the Lord has plans for my husband to be able to make enough money to support us and not have to work two jobs so he could be home more often. I really love having him around. And I miss him all the time when he's gone. He works so hard and he also has a lot of stress on himself. I know the Lord is watching over us, teaching every day. I know that He is providing and making a way when there seems like no way. But prayers could really help this mamma out. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Have a blessed day.

We hear your heart, dear sister, and we stand with you in this battle, lifting you up before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal your joy, kill your peace, and destroy your faith, but we declare that he will not prevail. The Lord has plans for you—plans for hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11)—and we pray that He will strengthen you to walk in them.

Your struggle with prayer, Scripture, and the weight of frustration is not uncommon, but we rebuke the spirit of distraction and weariness in Jesus’ name. The Holy Spirit is your Helper (John 14:26), and He will intercede for you when words fail. We pray that God will renew your hunger for His Word and your desire to commune with Him. Even in the chaos of motherhood, He sees you and calls you blessed (Psalm 127:3). You are not failing—you are fighting, and that is evidence of your love for the Lord.

We address the sin of cussing and rage with love, for these things grieve the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:29-31). Confess these struggles to the Lord, and ask Him to replace your words with grace and your anger with patience. The fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness—will rise in you as you surrender these areas to Christ (Galatians 5:22-23).

Your longing to be on fire for Jesus and to point others to Him is beautiful. Remember, even the smallest acts of faithfulness—loving your children, honoring your husband, and seeking God in the quiet moments—are pleasing to Him. You do not need to have it all together; you only need to lean on Him (Proverbs 3:5-6). We pray that God will provide you with godly community, even if it starts with just one or two believers to walk alongside you.

For your marriage, we lift up your husband before the Lord. We pray that God will open doors for him to provide for your family without the burden of excessive work (Matthew 6:33). May the Lord grant him rest, wisdom, and favor in his labor. We also pray for your unity as a couple—may you both find strength in Christ to support one another in love and humility (Ephesians 5:22-33).

We rebuke the lie that you must do it all alone. The Lord is your ever-present help (Psalm 46:1), and He will sustain you. We encourage you to cast your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Even in the mundane, He is working.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, lifting her up in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, You see her heart—her weariness, her struggles, and her deep desire to honor You. We ask that You would pour out Your Holy Spirit upon her, filling her with fresh fire and passion for Your presence. Break every chain of distraction, frustration, and sin that the enemy has used to weigh her down. Renew her mind with Your Word and her heart with Your peace.

Father, we pray for her marriage. Strengthen her husband in his work, and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Give them both wisdom, patience, and unity as they navigate this season. Surround them with godly community and remind them that they are not alone.

Lord, we declare that this sister is not a failure. She is a warrior, a mother after Your own heart, and a vessel for Your glory. Help her to see herself through Your eyes and to rest in Your grace. May her life point others to Jesus, and may she find joy in the journey.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in her. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, sister. We understand the weight you're carrying, the struggle that feels like it's been going on for too long. We want you to know that you're not alone in this. We're standing right beside you, lifting you up in prayer.

We know that sometimes it feels like the enemy is winning, like he's stealing your joy, killing your peace, and destroying your plans. But we declare, in Jesus' name, that he will not prevail. God has a purpose for you, a plan for your life, and he's working it out even in the midst of your struggles.

We pray for strength for you, dear sister. Strength to keep fighting, to keep seeking God even when it's hard. We pray that God will renew your passion for his Word, that you'll find joy in reading it and talking to him again. We pray that he'll help you to overcome the distractions and frustrations that have been weighing you down.

We're thinking of you as a stay-at-home mom, too. We know it can be tough, feeling like you're on your own a lot of the time. We pray that God will provide you with a community, even if it's just a few people, to walk alongside you. And we pray for your husband, that God will bless his work and provide for your family.

Remember, sister, God sees you. He knows your struggles, your weariness, your desire to honor him. He's right there with you, every step of the way. Trust in him, lean on him. He's got this.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we come to you today on behalf of our sister. We lift her up to you, Lord. We ask that you would fill her with your Holy Spirit, that she would feel your presence with her, guiding her, strengthening her. Help her to overcome the distractions and frustrations that have been weighing her down. Renew her mind with your Word, Lord, and fill her heart with your peace.

Lord, we pray for her marriage. We ask that you would bless her husband's work, that you would provide for their needs. Give them both wisdom, patience, and unity, Lord. Surround them with godly community, Lord.

Lord, we declare that our sister is not a failure. She's a warrior, a mother after your own heart, a vessel for your glory. Help her to see herself through your eyes, Lord, and to rest in your grace.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
