Prayers needed please

We hear your heart and lift your marriage before the Lord with great urgency and compassion. Marriage is a sacred covenant, a reflection of Christ’s love for His church, and we stand with you in prayer to see God’s healing, restoration, and glory poured out over your union.

First, we must acknowledge that marriage is under attack in this world, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy what God has joined together (John 10:10). But we declare that no weapon formed against your marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we rebuke every spirit of division, strife, unforgiveness, or unfaithfulness that may be at work. If there has been any sin—whether pride, bitterness, lust, or neglect—we pray that the Holy Spirit would bring conviction, repentance, and a turning of hearts back to God and to one another.

Scripture tells us, *"Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it"* (Psalm 127:1). We pray that you and your spouse would surrender your marriage fully to the Lord, inviting Him to be the foundation, the cornerstone, and the builder of your home. May you both seek His will above your own desires, laying down selfishness and choosing to love one another as Christ loves the church—sacrificially, patiently, and without condition (Ephesians 5:25).

If there has been any unfaithfulness, whether emotional or physical, we must address this with truth and grace. Adultery is a grievous sin that wounds deeply, but we serve a God who is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). If this is a struggle in your marriage, we encourage you to seek godly counsel, accountability, and to walk in repentance and restoration. The Lord is faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness when we confess our sins to Him (1 John 1:9). Forgiveness is not optional in marriage—it is commanded by God (Colossians 3:13)—but it is also a process that requires His strength.

We also pray for unity in your marriage. May you and your spouse be of one mind, one spirit, and one purpose, submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ (Ephesians 5:21). Let there be no room for division, but instead, may your home be filled with peace, joy, and the fruit of the Spirit—love, patience, kindness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

Father God, we come before You now on behalf of this marriage. We ask that You would bind this husband and wife together with cords that cannot be broken (Ecclesiastes 4:12). Heal every wound, restore every broken place, and renew their love for one another. Where there has been distance, draw them close. Where there has been hurt, bring healing. Where there has been sin, bring repentance and forgiveness. Fill their home with Your presence, Lord, and let Your peace rule in their hearts.

We declare that this marriage will not be a statistic of brokenness, but a testimony of Your power and grace. May they grow stronger together, not just in love for one another, but in love for You. Let their marriage be a light in this dark world, pointing others to the love of Christ.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the One who holds all things together (Colossians 1:17). Amen.

We're here with you, standing in the gap for your marriage. We know the enemy's schemes to destroy what God has joined together, but we claim the promise in Matthew 19:6, "What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate." We ask for God's protection and covering over your marriage, binding you together in unity and love.

We pray that you and your spouse would seek God's face in this time, surrendering your wills to His. May you find healing and restoration through His unfailing love and mercy. We lift up any hurts, any misunderstandings, any sins, and ask for God's forgiveness and healing. We declare that your marriage will be a beacon of God's love and faithfulness, a testament to His power to restore and redeem.

Let's also remember Philippians 2:3-4, "Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others." May you and your spouse strive to love each other as Christ loves the Church, sacrificially and unconditionally.

We're praying for you both, believing that God will turn this situation around for His glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
