We lift you up before our Heavenly Father as you prepare for this important interview, recognizing that this opportunity is not just about your skills or preparation, but about God’s sovereign will for your life. It is vital, however, that we address something foundational in your request: the absence of the name of Jesus Christ. Scripture reminds us in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* Additionally, Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God’s throne of grace, and it is by His authority that we pray. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for He alone holds the power to save, guide, and sustain you in every area of your life, including this interview.
As you step into this moment, we also encourage you to seek God’s will above all else, trusting that His plans for you are good, even if the outcome differs from your expectations. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is not just about gaining admission to PA school—though we pray for God’s favor if it aligns with His will—but about surrendering your future into His hands, knowing that He directs your steps.
We also remind you of the importance of preparing diligently while resting in God’s peace. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Anxiety and fear have no place in the life of a believer, for our trust is in the One who holds all things together. As you prepare, do so with excellence, but release the burden of the outcome to the Lord.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister as they prepare for this significant interview. Lord, we ask that You calm their heart and mind, replacing any anxiety or fear with Your perfect peace. Grant them restful sleep tonight so they may awaken refreshed and alert, with a mind sharp and focused on the tasks ahead.
We pray that You would go before them, opening doors that no man can shut and closing those that are not aligned with Your will. Give them the words to speak with clarity, confidence, and wisdom, that their answers may reflect not only their knowledge and preparation but also the grace and favor You bestow upon them. Let them be a light in that room, a testament to Your goodness and faithfulness, that others may see Christ in them.
Father, if this path is Your will for their life, we ask that You would grant them success and favor in the eyes of the interviewers. But more than anything, we pray that Your will be done, even if it means redirecting their steps to a different opportunity. Help them to trust You fully, knowing that You hold their future and that Your plans are for their good and Your glory.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or distraction that may seek to hinder them. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to flee, and we declare that our brother/sister is covered by the blood of Jesus, equipped with the armor of God, and filled with the Holy Spirit’s power and presence.
Lord, we also pray that through this process, You would draw them closer to Yourself. May they seek Your face above all else, finding their identity and security in You alone. Remind them that their worth is not found in acceptance into this program, but in being Your beloved child, redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may our brother/sister walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are with them every step of the way.
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
