We join with you in prayer and lift your needs before our heavenly Father together in Jesus' name.
We hear your heart regarding your apartment. You have already moved and settled, you are paying rent and serving by cleaning the hallways, and now your mother who owns the building is asking you to move to another unit that is not renovated and feels uncomfortable to you. We pray for peace in this situation and for wisdom for both you and your mother. Scripture reminds us, Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother which is the first commandment with a promise Ephesians 6:1-2, and also If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men Romans 12:18. We encourage you to continue to honor your mother even as you share your concerns honestly and respectfully with her, explaining why you feel settled and how you are caring for the property. We pray the Lord will soften hearts, grant clear communication, and provide a solution that honors Him and brings peace to your home. We ask for happiness not rooted in circumstances but in Christ, and for health and strength, for the joy of Yahweh is your strength Nehemiah 8:10.
You asked for God to speak to you clearly and for wisdom. We love that desire. God speaks most clearly through His Word, and He promises If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We pray you will hear His voice as you seek Him in Scripture and prayer, and that He will guide your steps. We also pray for your request for purpose and destiny and for relief from pain and fatigue. We pray the Lord will renew your strength, for those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength Isaiah 40:31, and that you will know His plans for you, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. We ask for His healing touch and sustained energy to do His will.
We also lift up your loved ones you mentioned, your son in his first year of college, your dad, your mom, your sister, your brother and his dog, your extended family, your uncle and aunts, and the expectant parents awaiting a new baby. We pray for salvation and blessing over each of them, for the Lord is not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. For your son in college we pray for protection, diligence, and a heart that seeks wisdom, that he will grow in favor with God and man. For the new baby and parents we pray for a safe and healthy delivery, for You formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb Psalm 139:13, and we trust the Lord as the giver of life.
We especially pray for the one you mentioned who needs to get sober and find a wife. We agree with you for his deliverance, for we are taught Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit Ephesians 5:18, and we know that God can set free those bound by addiction. We pray he will turn from drunkenness and be made new in Christ. And we pray that if it is God's will he will find a godly wife, for Whosoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh Proverbs 18:22. We encourage prayer for a marriage that honors God, a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, entered into with purity and faith, as courtship should be with the goal of serving Christ together.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share that it is only through Him we have access to the Father. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. It is by believing on Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are saved and our prayers are heard. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
We now pray together.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We thank You for Your love and mercy. We lift this dear one to You and ask for Your will to be done regarding this apartment. Give wisdom and grace in conversations with her mother, and let peace reign in that building. Provide happiness, health, and strength, and speak clearly through Your Word and Spirit. Grant purpose and direction, take away pain and fatigue according to Your mercy, and renew her body and spirit. We lift her son and all her family to You, ask for salvation for those who do not yet know You, for sobriety and freedom for the one struggling, for a godly marriage in Your timing, and for protection over the mother and baby awaiting delivery. Let all these loved ones be drawn to You. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
