Please pray for ###. He works at ###. He’s been there for three months. They knew he had foot surgery not too long ago. He’s still a little tender and sore. Anyway I guess I made him wear a costume at work. The shoes are a lot different than he’s supposed to be wearing I guess his feet was bothering him a lot so now Work didn’t give me any hours. They keep on calling him off all the time boy boy wanna work in the way his hours from him I Pray and Hope it his résumé was sent out Shine. He can land that job soon that he wants that pays better than ### an hour. I pray that things will go well on Monday when you go to the doctors hopefully not seriously wrong with the spot I think that he’s probably still healing from surgery last year and hopefully he’ll get a note from the doctor and hopefully land more hours soon at ### or hopefully we get a job soon because he’s hoping for a busy summer but he’s been home a lot lately and he’s very sad because he had the hours at work or anything really bad for him

We hear your heart and the deep concern you have for as he navigates this difficult season. This situation touches on several areas where we must come before the Lord together, his physical healing, his employment struggles, and the emotional weight he is carrying. Let us bring these burdens before our Heavenly Father, who sees every detail and cares deeply for both of you.

First, we lift up ’s physical recovery. The Bible tells us in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Lord, we ask that You would continue to heal the tenderness in his feet and any lingering effects from his surgery. Give him strength and comfort as he waits for his doctor’s appointment on Monday. We pray that the doctor would provide clear answers and, if needed, a note that would help his employer understand his limitations. Father, we also ask that You would guard his heart from discouragement. Proverbs 13:12 reminds us, "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when longing is fulfilled, it is a tree of life." Sustain him with hope as he waits for Your provision.

We also bring before You the challenges he is facing at work. It is clear that this situation has caused frustration and sadness, especially as his hours have been reduced. We know that work is a gift from You, and it is meant to provide for our needs. In 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12, we are encouraged to "aspire to live quietly, and to mind your own business, and to work with your hands, as we instructed you, so that you may walk properly before outsiders and be dependent on no one." Lord, we pray that You would open doors for to find a job that honors You, provides for his needs, and allows him to use his gifts and talents. We ask that You would shine Your favor on his résumé and that the right opportunity would come quickly. If it is Your will for him to remain at his current job, we pray that You would soften the hearts of those in authority and restore his hours.

We must also address the emotional toll this season is taking on him. It is painful to see someone we love feeling defeated, especially when they have worked hard and tried to do what is right. But we take comfort in knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted. Psalm 34:18 assures us, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Lord, we ask that You would draw near to in this time. Fill him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and remind him that his worth is not defined by his circumstances but by Your love for him. Help him to cast his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him (1 Peter 5:7).

We also want to gently encourage both of you to seek the Lord together in this season. Jeremiah 29:11-13 reminds us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the Lord, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." If you have not already, we encourage you to come before the Lord in prayer, not just for the circumstances, but for your relationship with Him. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we find hope, healing, and salvation. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not placed your trust in Jesus, we urge you to consider doing so today. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is through Him that we find true peace and purpose.

Let us now pray together for and for you as you support him:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of concern for and for those who love him. Lord, we ask that You would heal his feet and bring complete restoration to his body. Give him patience and endurance as he waits for his doctor’s appointment, and grant him favor in the eyes of his employer. Father, we also lift up his job situation to You. You know the desires of his heart, and we ask that You would open the right doors for him. Whether it is through his current job or a new opportunity, provide for his needs and give him hope for the future.

Lord, we pray for his emotional well-being. Comfort him in his sadness and remind him of Your presence. Fill him with Your peace and help him to trust in Your timing. We also ask that You would draw both of them closer to You during this time. Help them to seek You with all their hearts and to find their strength in You alone.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of discouragement, fear, or doubt that may be trying to take hold in this situation. We declare that You are a God who provides, heals, and restores. We trust in Your promises and ask that You would move mightily on ’s behalf. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to the truth that God is working even when we cannot see it. Continue to seek Him in prayer and trust that He will provide in His perfect timing. If you have not already, consider reaching out to a local church or Christian community for support and encouragement. You are not alone in this journey, and God is faithful to walk with you every step of the way.

We hear how heavy it feels to see him so down and watch the hours slip away after only three months, especially when his foot is still tender from last year’s surgery. It makes a lot of sense that he’s sad, losing the steady routine and income you both counted on is a real blow, not just to finances but to a sense of security and hope for a busy summer. The disappointment and uncertainty run deep, and we don’t minimize that.

You mentioned you had him wear the costume, and maybe you’re carrying some guilt. We all make decisions we wish we could take back. Please don’t let yourself get stuck there; guilt that pushes you toward God can open the door to mercy, and He can redeem even this tangled situation. You’ve already been turning to prayer and hope, and that’s where we’ll join you.

Monday’s doctor visit is a good, concrete step. Encourage him to ask the doctor plainly about the spot, whether it looks like normal healing, and if a note about his current limitations might help him get back to his regular hours safely. Even if it doesn’t change things at the present job, it gives you both clarity while you wait.

In the meantime, it’s okay to look ahead. Has he been able to brush up his resumé or make a quiet contact or two in his field? Not as a frantic effort, just a small hopeful movement forward. Sometimes the waiting season feels endless, but small steps can remind him he’s not stuck forever.

Lord Jesus, You see this man and his hurting feet, and You know the discouragement that has settled over him. Please bring healing where the surgery is still tender, and give the doctor clear wisdom on Monday so there’s no confusion left to fear. Open a door to a job that fits him, with hours that restore his confidence and provision for what’s ahead. Lift the sadness from his shoulders and replace it with a steady hope. And for the one praying, please quiet any guilt and fill this home with peace that goes deeper than circumstances. We ask all this in Your name.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father grant favor to this loved one in His workplace. Please guide and protect him. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The Lord’s way with His children is often through deep waters and furnaces of affliction, but He never leaves them to sink. In all this, sin not, nor charge God foolishly; for He who sustained Job when stripped of wealth, health, and children, can most assuredly sustain you and your beloved in these present trials. The foot may yet ache, the hours be cut off, and the doctor’s word be awaited with trembling, yet He whose ways are past finding out remains unchangeable in goodness. “Should it be according to your mind?” asks Elihu; submit, then, to the will of the Lord, knowing that our sorrows have an end when God has gotten His end in them.

Pray for him, and let not prayer be restrained, for the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. Perhaps even now relief is near; a new door may open, and the spot prove to be but a remnant of healing. Look for the fresh anointing of His grace; He has promised, “I shall be anointed with fresh oil.” Trust Him though He slay, this is faith’s ultimatum, and it shall never be confounded. The night will not last forever; the sun will yet arise with healing in its wings.

Persevere in childlike confidence, and soon shall you see His hand turning your mourning into joy.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
