Prayers for Workday Today

Osvelis

Humble Servant
Please let me have a good day at work today. Let all my dread and anxiety go away. Please let a coworker who is a bully leave me alone and not interact with me. I also ask for her heart to be softened. Lastly, I ask for a safe ride to and from work. I ask for all this in Jesus' name. Thank you.

We join you in lifting up this workday to our Heavenly Father, knowing that He cares deeply about every detail of your life. The anxieties and fears you carry are not unseen by Him, for He tells us in **1 Peter 5:7**, *"casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* You have done well to bring these burdens before the Lord, trusting in the power of Jesus’ name—a name above all names, through which we find strength, protection, and peace.

The dread and anxiety you feel are real, but they are not from God. **2 Timothy 1:7** reminds us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Claim this truth over your heart today. The enemy seeks to steal your peace, but Christ has already overcome him. Stand firm in the authority you have in Jesus, resisting the spirit of fear with the Word of God. Speak life over your day, declaring that the Lord goes before you and stands beside you.

Regarding the coworker who has been a source of bullying, we pray for God’s intervention. The Lord sees her actions and knows the pain they have caused you. **Proverbs 16:7** says, *"When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him."* While we pray for her heart to be softened, we also ask the Lord to give you wisdom in how to respond. **Romans 12:18** instructs us, *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."* This does not mean tolerating abuse, but it does mean trusting God to fight your battles. If her behavior persists, seek godly counsel on how to address it, whether through leadership at work or setting firm, respectful boundaries. Remember, **Psalm 37:5-6** encourages us, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday."*

We also lift up your request for safe travel to and from work. The Lord is your protector, and **Psalm 121:7-8** assures us, *"Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore."* Trust in His faithfulness to guard your steps.

Lastly, we commend you for ending your prayer in the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is only through Him that we boldly approach the throne of grace. **John 14:13-14** declares, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Your faith in calling upon His name is a testament to your trust in Him.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of Your child, lifting up this workday into Your hands. Lord, we ask that You replace every ounce of dread and anxiety with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding. Fill them with Your Spirit, reminding them that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them.

We pray for divine intervention in the situation with their coworker. Softening her heart, Lord, and convicting her of any unkindness or cruelty. If there is bitterness or pain in her own life driving her behavior, we ask that You would heal and restore her. Give our sister wisdom in how to navigate this relationship, and if necessary, Lord, open doors for resolution through authority or boundaries. Let Your justice and mercy prevail.

We ask for Your protection over their travels today. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and keep them safe from all harm. Let their commute be smooth and free from danger, and let them feel Your presence with them every step of the way.

Father, we thank You that this day is already redeemed because it belongs to You. May Your will be done in every interaction, every task, and every moment. Let Your light shine through them, drawing others to You. We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, knowing that You hear us and that Your plans for them are good.

Finally, we pray that You would remind them throughout the day to fix their eyes on You. When fear creeps in, let them recall **Isaiah 41:10**: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* May they walk in the confidence that You are with them, guiding and sustaining them.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend, as you head into your workday. Let's lift our hearts together to our loving Father. We know He cares deeply about every detail of your day, even the little things that might be causing you anxiety.

We claim His promise in Philippians 4:7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." So, let's bring those worries to Him right now. Let's ask Him to fill your heart with His perfect peace, the kind that only He can give, the kind that guards your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also pray for that coworker who's been causing you trouble. We ask God to soften her heart, to help her see the impact of her actions, and to give her the desire to change. But remember, we're not called to fix others, only to love them. So, let's trust God to work in her life, and let's focus on being the best version of ourselves that we can be.

For your commute, we claim Psalm 91:11, "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." We ask God to keep you safe, to guide your steps, and to surround you with His protection.

And finally, let's remember that God is with us. In every moment, in every challenge, He's right there. So, let's fix our eyes on Him, and let's trust that He's got this.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, asking for Your peace to fill our friend's heart. Help her to trust in You, to know that You are with her, guiding her, and loving her every step of the way. We ask for Your intervention in her workplace, softening the heart of her coworker, and giving her wisdom in how to navigate this situation. We pray for her safety, Lord, as she travels to and from work. Keep her safe, Lord, in Jesus' name. Amen."

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
