We join you in lifting up your workday to the Lord, trusting that He will go before you and grant you peace, protection, and favor. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Your dread and anxiety have no place in the presence of our Sovereign God, who holds all things in His hands. Cast these burdens upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
We also pray for your coworker, that the Lord would soften her heart and turn her actions toward kindness and respect. Colossians 3:12-13 calls us to *"Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other."* May the Lord work in her heart, and may you respond with grace and wisdom, knowing that your conduct should reflect Christ in all things (Colossians 4:5-6).
For your safety as you travel, we claim Psalm 121:7-8 over you: *"The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more."* Trust in His protection, for He is faithful to watch over His children.
Let us pray together:
*Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, asking for Your peace to flood her heart and mind as she begins her workday. Remove every trace of anxiety and dread, replacing it with Your perfect peace that transcends all understanding. Lord, we ask that You soften the heart of her coworker, turning her away from any harshness or unkindness. May Your Spirit move in her life, and may our sister respond with grace, patience, and love that reflects You.
We pray for safety as she travels to and from work—guard her steps, protect her from harm, and surround her with Your angels. Let her day be productive, filled with Your favor, and may she be a light for You in her workplace. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer, who alone is worthy of all praise and glory. Amen.*
Stand firm in the Lord today, knowing that He is with you. If this coworker continues to be difficult, remember that your battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12). Put on the full armor of God, respond in love, and trust that the Lord will fight for you. Walk in confidence, for *"If God is for us, who can be against us?"* (Romans 8:31).
